Snuggling with me!
Our other two cats!
No toys...he's quite independent!
Favorite Nap Spot:
He has two...one chair in my office and another chair in my husband's office.
He has intuition about my diabetes and low blood sugars...
indoors and outdoors
Not really...except that he's the first cat that I have ever purchased! My husband bought him for me for my birthday. I have always had Siamese cats (I love them!) and my husband and son found this little gem nearly 20 years ago.
My husband served in the US Navy for much of this time so PT has been my loyal little pal. When my son went off to college and hubby was out to sea, PT took care of things together. He was the "man" of the house. He did an excellent job of handling things!
PT stands for "Poop Tail". He was only home for just a few days and we were struggling to come up with a name. Little guy got up on our water bed and wasn't able to get down quick enough to get to the litter box...and did his business right on the bed. No anger from this kitty's Momma...it wasn't his fault. So, I named him PoopTail but calling him that was somewhat, well, for a Himalayan -- it just wasn't dignified. So we came up with PT and only tell those that would entirely understand...like people who love cats...like all of you!
PT is recovering from cataract surgery and is doing very well. He can see out of one eye quite well but the eye that had the cataract is till not perfect although it is improved. There is retina damage but no pain. He used to walk down the side of the hall and now, since the surgery, he walks right down the middle.

My wonderful friend of over 22 years, went to sleep on April 13th, 2009. He had been losing a great deal of weight and wasn't eating very well and finally stopped eating altogether.
I spent the last weekend sleeping on the floor with him in my arms so he knew I wasn't far away because he could no longer climb on the bed and sleep with my husband and I.
There is nothing in the world more painful than losing a friend like this. PT was not only loving, he was loyal. I will miss you so much.
