Arrival Story:
Leya was one of many kittens born in an outside ferral colony close by a friends house. Somebody was feeding them but they usually all ended up in front of my friends house. Leya and her brother Matou plus another little kitten that later found a new home in Toronto, were very young and it was just about to get real cold so I asked my friend if she could help me catch the 3 kittens. After some days we did and since nobody was interested in Leya and Matou, the ended up staying at our home.

Bio:
One day Leya came home limping and not looking too good. My husband rushed her to the Vet and it seemed like she had been hit by a car. I must add that our road is FAR away from our house so for Leya to make it home with a dislocated hip and 2 broken bones was just a miracle. She was walking around with a cast for some weeks, but she healed up nicely and only on really cold days you can see a slight limp! She is a true survivor! We love you Leya
