Thanks, Megara! *purr*
I’ve been tagged! I love this game! Here's how it goes-
Name 7 special things about yourself; that should be easy.
Pick out 7 furiends to tag. List them in your diary with their
id #'s. Go tag them (by paw-mail) direct them to your diary
for rules and tell them to pass on the FUN. Tell them to
list the rules in their diary just in case they tag someone
who doesn't know how to play.
1. I brush my teeth with Mama at night by dipping my paw in water and chewing the hair between the pads.
2. I would love to be allowed to take a shower, but I keep getting kicked out of the tub when the water turns on.
3. I sometimes throw "tea parties" for my toys, putting them in semi-circles around my food and water dishes.
4. My favorite toy is still the rainbow mousie Mama gave me the day I came home to live with her.
5. When Mama or my uncle are on the phone, I try to join in the conversation - after all, everyone should want to talk to me!
6. I always purr louder when Mama is sick or upset, the better to cheer her up.
7. My favorite people food to steal is broccoli - and I eat it all up too!

I had an adventure this morning. There was a buzzing noise around the window at the head of my bed (the one I let Mama use sometimes). I went to investigate it because it is my job to make sure that Mama is safe.
Well, as I am sure you've all guessed already, it was a buggy! But not just any buggy; Mama called it a "yellow jacket" when she woke up. I tried to get closer to check it out and tell that buggy to stay away from my Mama. But it stung me! Right on the cheek!
I jumped, as is to be expected, and that woke Mama up. She looked at me and saw that my eye was swollen shut already and she panicked! I realized that I would be fine, but Mama wasn't so sure. It was an hour before the V-E-T office opened, so she just watched me.
After about 10 minutes, I was opening my eye fine but still walking a little strangely. Half an hour later, I was eating breakfast, drinking water, and using my kitty box. Basically, I was acting completely normally. Mama called the V-E-T anyway, but they said not to worry unless I had trouble breathing. By the time she left for work, she was pretty well convinced that everything would be ok, but she locked the yellow jacket in her room away from me just in case. No naps on my bed today!

I haven't been keeping up with my diary of late, mostly because Mama is more concerned with "school" and "work" than with the important task of acting as my typist. Well, I'll show her. I'll just figure out how to use the laptop myself! (After all, the only laptop she needs is me.) Then she'll be sorry!
About two weeks ago I went to get a drink of water from my water bowl - the same one I have had for almost two years - when Mama told me to stay away from it! Apparently, some buggies that she called "mos-qwee-toes" had decided to lay eggs in my water dish. Imagine! So, Mama dashed off and bought a new one for me. I like this one better because it moves the water around and squirts it out the front, just like the faucet in the bathroom sink.
Other than that, Mama went on vacation back in June. She left me at home and had my Uncle Geoffrey check in on me. He visited every day and gave me treats - Mama had already told him I had to sit to get them, but he gave me more than she usually does so I didn't mind sitting so much. I liked having him visit. Maybe she'll go away again soon... No, I don't mean that. I missed her very much!
That's about it for now. I need to work on some new verses...
