I was just reading my furriend Winnie's diary. I couldn't help but comment on it because MY Mommy has been doing the same exact thing! She left this morning for a while, then she came home and was all sweaty and smelly! And she's been drinking a LOT of water!
Winnie's mom has been acting like this too, and NOW I find out that Sunny's mom is also acting strange! Can anykitty explain this? What should I do??
I always said, humans should come with instruction manuals ...
When I brought you home, I didn't know how to love you. What I mean is, I had Tabby. How could I possibly love another cat as much as I loved her, without taking any of my love away from her? Well, you sure showed me. You have shown me that I have an infinite amount of love in my heart for as many kitties that I bring into my home.
I always say that you are the love of my life. That is not just something that I say - I truly mean it. I love the way you connect to me with your gorgeous green eyes. I really feel like you are communicating with me when you do "blinkies" with me. I love you more than any other living being, and I really do not know what I will do when you are no longer with me. But that won't be for a very long time.
You are not a cuddler by any means, but you show your affection in your own ways. Even when you're across the room, sometimes I catch you gazing at me. When you feel like it, you will lay next to me, purring. Or out of the blue, you'll come and start rubbing your face on my arm, and then do it over and over until something else catches your attention. Or if you're really in the mood to demand attention, you will jump on my lap and start kneading me. Of course I drop whatever it is I am doing to give all my attention to you. I will always remember the day you were neutered. You were SO loopy from all the medication! You let me hold you and cuddle with you as if you were a baby. I probably won't get that chance again for a while, so I will always remember that.
Sometimes it feels like I am the only person in the world that understands you. Of course I understand you! I'm your Mommy! Like the time your old vet told me you were aggressive. I knew you weren't really aggressive - you were just scared. Scared that I left you there and wasn't going to come back. Scared of the people that you didn't know. Don't worry, my boy - I will never take you there again and I am so sorry that I did.
I love the way you have bonded with your siblings. First Tabby, then Tessie, and now little Tommy. I also love the way that even though you are best buddies with Tommy now, that you still love Tessie enough to groom her and cuddle with her. You see, sweetie - I am not the only one that can love more than one.
I am writing this today because you turned 4 years old today! When did you turn into such a handsome adult? How did I miss it? When I look at you, why do I still see the kitten that I brought home? I am so happy that you are still as active as a kitten. Please promise me that it will be that way for a long time. Please promise me that you will always love me, and trust me to make the best decisions for you.
I love you. You are my heart ... my love ... my Tucker.
Today I turn 4 years old! Mommy can hardly believe it! She says it seems like yesterday that she brought me home as a kitten. I was SO cute! Mommy keeps saying that she doesn't know when I turned into such a handsome adult cat. Silly Mommy! She was here the whole time! I worry about her sometimes.
Anyway, thank you to the kitties who have sent me birthday rosies, gifts, and pmails! And a big thanks to my beautiful wife, Bella, who sent me a catnip hairball! That thing is pawsome!! :)
