Arrival Story: Circuit was found with her 6 siblings & their mother stuck between some fencing. I worked at a vet clinic at the time and they were all brought into us by a good samaritan. Circuit was the runt of the litter (by quite a bit!) but had the biggest heart and wasn't afraid of anything or anyone. She won my heart with her charming & sweet personality, even though I wasn't really looking for another kitty. The deal was sealed when I brought her home and Koko (my older Siamese) didn't have his usual reactions to kittens. (This includes lots of hissing and bopping them around.) He sniffed her, she purred and rubbed on him and that was that. She's been our baby ever since.
Bio: Circuit is fearless and always up for a good adventure. If she were a human she would love skydiving, extreme sports, cave exploration, diving with sharks, climbing mountains, and would be an archeologist. Whenever a sound makes the other cats run or freeze in fear, Circuit is running towards it. She is such a fun cat! From the day I brought her home Circuit had an immediate bond with our dog Star. She would spend hours just playing on & around Star. Circuit learned a lot from her mentor. How to welcome & inspect visitors, how to check the trash can for goodies, & kitchen floor patrol. Circuit loves racing after my other cat Austin and the two of them have hours of fun rolling around and chasing each other. Circuit's biggest quirk is that when she purrs, she drools. It's so gross it's cute. She has a great personality. She's the type of cat that people who aren't "cat people" always fall in love with. I've had several people say that they would steal her given the chance, but my little girl isn't going anywhere!

Fun fact: Circuit sits up on her hind legs when she sees something interesting. She looks like a gopher! I think it must have started when she was a baby and that was her way of telling me she wanted to be picked up.
Ok, ok. People always ask my mommy & daddy why they named me Circuit so I'll explain it to you. When I first came to live with my family I had some patches of no hair on my body and the hair that I did have was long in some places and short in some so, I'll admit, I looked a bit funny. Mommy said it looked like I'd been electrocuted (but of course I hadn't, I just had that crazy hair look). To add to my *uh, hum* eclectic look I always walk with my tail straight up. Daddy said it looked like I had an antenna instead of a tail. Daddy works on computers and has all sorts of electronic stuff that I loved to nap on and play in so my parents decided that I needed some sort of "techy" name and one day Daddy caught me chewing on some wires so he decided that Circuit was the best name for me. And that's how I got my name. I like it, it's unique and that fits me just fine. So now you all know how I got my unusual name. Hope you liked the story!
Our beloved old dog Star is enjoying her last night with us. Tomorrow she will be smiling down on us from the Rainbow Bridge. We will all miss her terribly and love her always.
