Birds and mice, alive ones. Black and white cats make the best mousers, and I prove that, over and over, and with feathers all over the house.

My bed, or on the patio outside. He's an indoor-outdoor kitty and thriving on this arrangement. Keeping active outside everyday keeps his weight healthy.

He loves his dry food, and when we run out of that, he'll readily take to canned fish. He's easy to please.

Arrival Story:
I lost my cat Snoopy to cancer in June of 2006. I was at the pound to advertise a dog I found and was caring for at home, and stopped by the cat shelter "just to look." This big guy stretched, then bat the glass at me. He stole my heart from the first second and I just KNEW I HAD TO HAVE HIM. He had a lot of anxiety at first (imagine a terrified 17 pound cat hanging from the shelter door window by his front nails) but I followed the shelter's advice to allay his anxiety, and, he's been perfectly fine ever since. He loves it here. He loves his food. He likes sharing the bed with me. He seems to like my dog alright. They get along without any problems, except maybe food bowl anxiety once in a blue moon. He poops outside and we haven't needed a litterbox in years. He's done very well here, and I'd do anything to keep him with me forever. We are two peas in a pod.
Bio:
The previous owner microchipped him but did not want him back. He had an abscess on his back that had been surgically addressed by the shelter's vet and in fact was still healing when I adopted him. Even if the previous owner wanted him back, they can't have him. I'm keeping him!

8. What did you do to get adopted? I wooed my new owner by waking up, stretching cute and sexy, and patting at her through the glass relentlessly until she fell for it. Killer moves the ladies can't resist. And eye contact is SOOOOOOO important.

10. Are you microchipped? Yes, and my previous owner doesn't want me! Bitch.

12. Were you injured when you were found? I had an abscess on my back. Now I have a healed scar. The fur grew back and covered it, at least.
13. Where do you NOT like to be petted or brushed? I like it everywhere baby. Purr! But sometimes I do bite if you tickle my tummy. I'm oh so sensitive on my tummy.
14. Declawed? Front paws only. I had a bad habit of clawing my owner and furniture during play or even petting. I wuz a bad boy leaving tons of scratch marks on my owner's arms.
15. What do you eat? I'll sniff human food but I won't eat it, except maybe canned fish. My owner mixes Indoor Cat Hairball Formula with Senior Cat Formula as it keeps my coat manageable and my mood active , healthy, and playful. A perfect balance. I must love it because I purr when I eat.

22. How did you get your name? My owner has a thing for nebulas, Oreo cookies. or black and white, and I'm a big 17 pound warrior, so, she named me Orion. I've been known to catch rats and birds, bring them in the house, and play with them for hours while my owner is sleeping. I recently left bird feathers all over the house, stretched across the living room and all down the hallway. When my owner woke up she didn't have her glasses on. She saw the feathers and thought it was my fur, and wondered, "WTF?!"

26. Where do you cat nap? Mommy bought me a furry cusion to sleep on. She set it by the window high up on a sofa table so I could sort of sun bathe like I like to do, and feel like I was in a penthouse. My Mommy is de Best!!! She said she bought it to keep me from sleeping on the dining room table. I'm sorry, Mommers. I didn't mean to get sand all over the kitchen table where you eat. Thanks for the new bed. It's purrfect.
27. Are you addicted to catnip? It's growing in our garden but I don't seem to pay it any mind.
28. Where do you sleep? Outside on the roof, or in the sun, or I'll share her bed. I'm polite and wait until she wakes up to show affection to get my bowl filled. I used to wake her up to get my bowl filled. She gets mad if I don't let her sleep, so now I just wait patiently, bored out of my friggin' mind, while Miss Beautiful gets her beauty sleep. Sheesh. I thought this world was all 'bout ME! I also like to fall asleep on my owner's chest like a little kid, she says.
29. Erogenous zones? Under chin, behind ears, neck, end of my spine just in front of my tail, pretty much everywhere. Brush me baby. I love it. Drives me CRAZEE!

31. Meow sounds like? I have a big ass meow now. When I first moved in, you could barely hear it, now, you wish I'd shut up. I meow only to have my food or water bowl filled. I have a cat door that I go in and out of, so, I don't meow to be let out anymore, although I think I deserve my own personal butler.
