indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: Highway was a very special rescue. I was driving along a major HW in September 2003 to look for Yardsales. All of the sudden I hear tires squeeling in fr0nt of me. Everything happened so fast. The car in front of me had hit a cat. The car stopped, the people looked back and then decided to drive off. They had no heart to stop and look if the cat was dead and they certainly did not care about THE KITTEN that was with the adult cat. I of corse stoppen, my knees shaking. The adult cat, what seemed to be the mother was dead, but her kitten seemed unharmed, not even in shock?! So I took the little wurm with me and that is HIGHWAY's story! Bio: It took Highway some time to trust us and come around. He decided to hide a lot in the basement for the first couple of months. We also have some dogs living with us and he was not too sure about them, until later he discovered that the dogs are actually alright and his friends!
