Arrival Story: I had gotten PJ's littermate sister, Callie, the week before and decided it wasn't good for her to be at home by herself especially if I got sent out of town on business. So I called Callie's previous owners and asked if I could have one of the remaining females from Callie's litter. They asked me if I would take her longhair brother instead as longhair cats do not do well on farms plus this guy had such a personality already, they really wanted him to go to a good home. Having grown up on a farm and given away longhair kittens for the same reason, I agreed to take him. So that's how PJ came to live with his littermate sister Callie.
Bio: First Day Home ~~
Mom has allergies so my first activity when I got home was to get a bath. Mom almost had to get ear plugs because I yowled so loudly. I really hate baths! Next thing Mom did was to try and figure out what she was going to name me. I do have this unique marking on my nose, but it was another set of marks that got me my name. As I walked away from her, my markings on my hind legs made mom say, "Hey guy, you're losing your pajama drawers." Thus the name PJ.

Oh, I was a bad boy. Mom came home from work Friday and found a broken dish on the kitchen floor. I tried to tell her that Callie did it, but she didn't believe me. She said that dish was too heavy for Callie to push off the counter. Plus I am always pushing things off the side tables in the living room to get attention, so I was busted. Mom told me that was NOT a nice birthday gift for her.
Callie has been real jumpy since then and very mad at me. I can't get near her with her swatting at me. I came up on her while she slept next to mom and just sniffed her. Darn girl nearly jumped out of her skin and dug her claws into mom to escape me. Mom has some nasty deep scratches on her upper leg now.
Mom still pets me, but she says things like, "You are such a bad boy", and "You've got to behave when I'm not home", while she pets me. I hate mom's job. I want her to stay home.
Somehow I got to get mom to leave the computer on when she isn't home. Turns out today was the day I really needed the computer. That's because I was name Cat of the DAY! And I almost missed it!
Today she left early for work and didn't check for emails and the like before leaving. She usually does that because she can't get to her emails at work. The place won't let her visit Catster either! Hissss! She was gone all day and didn't get home until 8:30 this evening.
Mom, my sister and I sat in shock as we watch email after email load up with notifications from Catster. "Kids", said mom, "Something is up at Catster." We quickly went to Catster and there I was on the homepage as Cat of the Day! WOW! What an honor! Thanks HQ!
The worst thing is, my page wasn't right. My good friend Heathcliff sent me a pmail about it. Thanks Heaffy for the heads up! Of all days to have my decoration code not on my page! Mom got that fixed ASAP. She wishes she had seen it before now.
I want to thank everyone who sent me stars, rosettes, gifts, pmails and Voki messages! I will be getting in touch with each and everyone of you. Please be patient as my mom will have very limited access to Catster over the next few weeks. I just got to find a way for me use the computer without her supervision.
