I know I haven't been hanging around much. I stay in the kitchen most of the time. I hang out in a large cage for solitude from the other cats. I get into huge, nasty fights with them if I feel they are too close to me. I have been totally unhappy for about the past year.

Mom and I have been having some long discussions. Mom didn't know this when she adopted me, but I wanted to be an only cat. Oh I put up with PJ, but I do have my limits like no touching is allowed.

Mom has tried every trick and tip she has found to get me to be more sociable with the other cats in this house, but I haven't falling for any of them. Mom and I have now come to a decision because of my needs. We are looking for a new home for me.

Mom is really, really sad about having to do this. She loves me very much, but she loves me enough to be willing to give me up if a new home will make me happy again.

So someday, if the right one comes along, I will have a new home. Mom is going to be very picky about where I might go. I just wanted you to know about this decision now so if that new home comes around, it won't be such a shock to my friends.

Hello precious friend,
We understand Callie, we really do. It's hard living with other cats sometimes, and especially if you want to be the only cat. My Calico sister Claire, was the same way. She loved mom and dad and tolerated her brother Xerox, but didn't have another feline friend in the house. Instead of fighting, she peed on things to show her displeasure.
I will purray that Katrina and you find a truce, but if that isn't to be, that the purrfect home presents itself. I'd invite you here, but don't think you'd likr it any better.

I have my own room upstairs and am very happy.

Mom sews in my room and also has her exercise bike so I have her as company.

I hate other cats - Sky included but we know our space.

Callie, sorry to hear you are looking for a new home! I understand though. I know your Mom wants what's best for you. It can be very stressful living with other cats when you want to be the only one. I know your Mom will be very picky and make sure you get a great new home. So sorry it had to come to this. Your family is in our purrs!

I know exactly how you feel, Callie Jean. I'm a different cat when I go visit my Ohio Grandmaw. I don't like the other cats in this house very much. It's that way with Princess Divas. We should have our own kingdom. I'll purr that the perfect castle comes your way with great servants.
