Today was different from most weekdays. Mom stayed home today. I love it when mom is at home, but she didn't want to play today. She spent most of her time asleep on the sofa, so from time to time I would check up on her and sometimes I would watch her by napping on top of her.

Mom didn't even get the mail today because she said it was too darn cold to go out. I got to admit it's been as cold as I have ever known, but mom has been doing things to keep us warm. She bought us new cat beds with high furry sides a few days ago. They have been great for PJ and me to use in the evenings... nice and cozy.

She also got us some fresh organic grass for us to eat. Goodness knows there isn't any grass outside fit to chew as it is all buried under snow. My tummy feels better now.

Well, mom is going to lay down again. I think I will join her to keep her warm.
