Arrival Story:
Spot was actually my daughter Janet & her boyfriend Jason's cat. They live in Lorain. My daddy wanted a puppy but he wasn't allowed to have a dog in his apartment. He decided that a kitty would do. He and his friend went in search of a kitty. Lucky for them, someone was giving away me and my brothers. My daddy took me home when I was just a little kitty and I lived with him ever since.

Bio:
On Thursday 1/11/07 evening I became very ill. My daddy & grandma had to take me to the emergency vet. I was lethargic and had a fever. The vet said that my kidney blood levels were bad. They thought that I might have anti-freeze poisoning and I was very dehydrated. The next morning (Fri) they sent me to my vet he decided to put me on IV's since I pee'd on my way there. Well I got to come home last night (Mon). The vet said that I have early stages of kidney failure & he's not sure what the out come will be. Well I did well until this afternoon. I'm not eating & I don't want to drink (they are giving me water through a dropper). We aren't sure what my outcome will be. Mommy said that my gums are alittle white with pink. Mommy, Daddy & Grandma are real worried about me, they said only time will tell what is going to happen.

I'm sorry to say that Spot got much worse last night & the vet told us this morning that there wasn't anything else we could do. Spot has now gone over the Rainbow Bridge.
