My second and third surgeries, and an update!

Well, I had my surgery to close my leg, and it went well. Unfortunately, because I had so little skin to close the wound, they had to stretch the skin so tight to close it that the stitches started ripping through my skin. I, Of course, had to play with those nice blue strings on my arm and I pulled them out. I had to have a third surgery (a re-do) and this time the vet said that I was healing up very nicely. The vet said that I could probably come home either Friday or Saturday, but it depends on how my stitches are doing. Did you hear that? I may get to go back home!
Of course, I now have ANOTHER issue *big sigh* the vet dude thinks that I may be diabetic..... I eat and drink a lot more than normal kitties, but everytime the vet has tested my blood suger it was low. So, THAT indicates that i'm hypoglycemic... Anybody else getting mixed messages or is it just me? MOL. Well, the vet is supposed to test my blood sugar one more time and if it's still weird, he's going to do a full battery blood test. Yuck.
Well anyways, i'll try to keep everybody posted.

Another stay at the vet

Well, Bo is at the vet again... We had a really hard time keeping his bandages on, I re-wrapped his leg 5 times yesterday. Anyways, he went to the vet today,he isn't going to have surgery today because his leg still had some pus in it, and it is still infected. The vet put a bunch of antiseptics on the wound and cleaned it out real well and rebandaged it, they are hoping to do surgery tomorrow. If he can have the surgery tomorrow, he will hopefully be on the road to recovery pretty soon.
So please keep purring and praying, Bo still needs it.

Uh oh....

Mom said that I was a bad boy today... I kinda, sorta, maybe a little bit, took off my purple casty thing. But it was bothering me!! Well, mom had a look at the skin before re-wrapping it, and it's not growing. I don't know what they are going to do, mom and Mrs.Ginger ( the lady in charge of the rescue) are wondering if they are going to try to amputate....I sure hope not! I like my leg! Even if it does have 4-5 holes in it.... Well, please purr for me, i'll write more when I know more.

My vet visit

Hey there everycat! First of all, I wanna say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Catster HQ!!!!!! Oh yeah, did I forget to say THANK YOU!?
Anyways, about the vet visit. Since the lady at the apartment complex didn't get me to the vet for 5 days, some of the tissue in my leg died, and now some of the skin around my wound is dead. So, the doctor was mean and evil and took off the dead skin, and accidentally cut a little too far, and he had to give me a shot to ease the pain.
He also gave me the numbing powder stuff and wrapped my arm in this purple thing. Mom says that it is very fashionable and that everycat is wearing one these days, but it's sooo uncomfortable and weird lookin', and personally, I don't believe a word of it. Although, I have to admit I kidna like the color, it least they didn't give me a girly color! The vet says I need to make my skin grow more so that on Tuesday I can have surgery to close the wound.
So everybody please purr and pray that my skin grows more so I can have surgery, and if I do have surgery pray that everything goes well. I'm kinda mad at everybody now and i'm hiding under the bed, and only coming out to visit and go potty, but other than that i'm gonna just watch feet from under the bed.

Hey there everycat, i'm Bo, I need a home really really soon. I was found at an apartment complex with a deep gash in my leg, all the way down to the bone. I was put under anesthetics so that they could put stitches in my leg, and while I was under they neutered me. I have been at the vet for a little under a week, I tore off my bandages and had to stay a little longer than planned. I have a minor URI, but I have antibiotics for that and it is being taken care of. As i've mentioned, i've got about a week with mom and then I have to go back to that apartment complex. The manager at the apartment complex does not want me nor any of the other cats at his place, there is a lady that has been kind enough to feed me and the others. But, I need a real home situation, if anybody has the room in their homes and hearts or knows of anybody PLEASE have them e-mail me at bmtiz92@aim.com.
