I got a stroller!

Mom bought us a double decker stroller to fit all three of us in. We had a very nice day a few days back and got to go on our first stroll.

I have been out on a leash before, so I wasn't really nervous or anything. Chase was a little scared (he would never admit it, but mom has it on video, so he doesn't have to) so I stayed on top with him. Ashton was real calm, so he got to have his own space on the bottom.

Mom didn't take us too far, but she did bring us down by the lake and it was really cool. I seen birds flying and the sun was setting and it was real nice. I was a little bummed when we had to go back in, but mom said we could go out the next day. The bad thing is, it is snowing now here in MN, so we will have to wait.

I have been good otherwise. I did get mites before I was rescued by mom, so that's been kind of a pain to deal with. Those things itch man! Mom got me medicine frrom the vet, so I'm getting better.

I also have to do that neuter thing that Chase and Ashton got. I'm not too happy about that, but I'm a tuff boy,..I can' handle it!!

I like my forever home a lot! Our mommy loves us like crazy and I admit, we are pretty darn spolied, but I give her lots of love in return.

I'm finally wanted in my forever home!

That's right - no more drama where I am concerned. I am wanted here now!

Chase (the top cat of the house) finally likes me, actually, unless I'm reading into things, I think he's Catrazy about me!! I knew he would soften up.

Ashton has always liked me, but he's kind of a fat cat and he forgets that I'm just a wee bit smaller than he is (sorry about the "fat cat" thing Ash!!)

Mommy is great - she spoils us like you wouldn't believe. She bought us a humungo cat tree and lots of other goodies. You'd think we were human kids the way she loves on us!!

One fun thing to tell is that mom is letting the three of us (joined with a few other Catsters) host a fun valentines group w/ a photo contest that will have little prizes for 1st and maybe 2nd place. If your interested stop by - http://www.catster.com/group/grp_page.php?g=6247

Not too much else to tell. I have my second distemper shot coming up and then a neuter not too far after that. I heard all about the neuter thing from Chase & Ashton. I'm not looking forward to it one bit!!

How Little Am I???

Hi Catster friends! It's Maximo. I've been doing really good. I'm sure most of you know about the time I was throwing up...but now i'm all better!

Mommy says that i'm a dare devil, she says that I act bigger than I am. I like to play onour new cat tree, but Chase doesn't want me to fall of of it so he pushes me aside. Impressive huh?!? Chase used to not be my brother, but now he's my best buddy!!! I also like to eat Chase & Ashton's food. Mommy says that its big boy food, what does that make me...LITTLE!?!

I'm home now, thank's for your purrayers!

Well, I am back home. Mommy got to pick me up at 6:30 PM tonight. It turns out that I hurt my back paw either before I came here or while I was here. Mom doesn't know when I could of hurt my leg because she doesn't let me go anywhere w/out her - she says I'm too small. I did climb up on my human sister's bed and jumped off. It's not high, but maybe that did it. Iguess it's a mystery. I also had a reaction to my vaccine, which could of contributed to the vomiting. The good thing is I am OK and I did eat today w/out throwing up.

A few other good things. Mommy bought me lots of toys while I was gone - they are just for me and I don't have to share, at least not right away. I got a neat scratching post with a little tunnel and toy on it and it's just my size. I got little eek toys - they are the happening think w/ kitties because they have super crazy catnip inside. This stuff is not for the weak at heart, it's the real deal! I got a catnip ball and a cool glove toy mommy wears that has lots of cool toys on each finger.

Oh, I almost forgot - I think there has been some improvement w/ Chase. He seen my paws under the bathroom door and growled like a fool, but that's it. He came back a second and third time and the last time he didn't growl. Mommy says as soon as he comes around, I can be in the kitty room with them. For now, I'm in the guest bathroom, cuz it's empty and safe and extra warm. Mommy made it real nice with my little kitty house and blankets and toys. I also like playing paws under the door with Ashton.

*yawning* I guess I better go back to sleep, it's been catrazy for me and I am sooo sleepy!

I had to go to the vets for overnight stay

It's only my second day home and I already had to leave. Mommy rushed me to the vet at 11:30 PM tonight because I started throwing up over and over.

We don't know why I got sick. Mommy has been with me and didn't see me eat anything I shouldn't, so we don't think it's that.

I did get my distemper shot and two dewormers. The vet said I could have worms, a reaction to the vaccine or worst case, distemper.

I was scared tonight and all of the shots they gave me hurt a lot. I'm tired and sick and want to be better. Mommy is sad and scared for me too - she didn't want to leave me.

Pleasy Purray for me everycat. Mommy will update you tomorrow.

My first day in my forever home

Hi, Catster - I'm a new boy in my forever home and I get to tell all about it.

I met my new mommy yesterday when she came to the shelter. I guess she came to sign a form to help with the cats . She really likes kitties and wants to be friends and help them.

She was with the big kitties. The big kitties are S-C-A-R-Y, but she's not scared of them. She was petting them and hugging them when all of the sudden...

One of my human shelter buddies brought us out to the scary big kitty room to put our nametags on. He had to bring us one by one, because we are pretty wild and he might not be able to handle two of us at the same time. I came out and mommy made funny faces at me, like ooohs and awwwws. My buddy put me back in the room and before I could meow to 10, mommy was in our kitty room.

She played with the kitties, but I didn't want to play with her. I was sleepy. I just looked at her. Mommy left and came back after a lot of minutes. This time, she picked me up and gave me a nice rub and kiss. I loved her right then, I really did. I cleaned her off just in case she was dirty and then off I went to my forever home.

My first night was a little scary, because there are two other kitties at my home. One is nice and curious of me - his name is Ashton. He's my new brother. The other boy is mad at me, he makes mean faces and loud hisses at me. He's not my brother.

Mommy has me in the daughter's room and I like it there. Mommy has a kitty hiding place for me and cumfy beds and I like the daughter, cuz she's my mommy too and she loves me. I got to sleep next to her last night.

I like my home, my food and mommy says I seem healthy. I like everything, but I wish that Chase kitty was nice to me, so I can come out and play. I like to play!

Oh, I have a name it's Maximo!
