4 Years....

Wow, I can't believe it's been 4 years today that My Rov went to the Rainbow Bridge! I still miss you every single day and still feel responsible for your passing. I know you are at the Bridge having fun with your roomie, Fancy Pants, and all your family and furriends but I still miss you here with me.

I miss you most when I am not feeling good. I remember you would come sit in my lap facing me and put your paw on my face to comfort me. I need you here to comfort me today!

One Year Ago Today !

Hey Rov it is mommy.....how are you buddy? Did you realize you have been gone from me for one whole year now? In some ways it seems like yesterday and in some it seems like forever. I remember every moment of that last morning.

I know I have told you in life and since you have been gone a zillion times, but I am still soooo sorry I didn't realize you really were sick until it was too late.

I miss you terribly.....Wish is still being loving to me. He comes and sits with me now on the couch and sometimes comes and sleeps with me. Usually though I have to run him off in the morning because he has this bad habit of waking me up before 5 am. Last night though he actually gave me a "butterfly kiss" like you used to do. It was the first time he has ever done that so I know you had him do it for me. Thank you buddy...it made your mommy very happy!!

I am sending you lots and lots of butterfly kisses to Heaven and the Bridge Rov. I miss you and will always love you !!!

Dear Mom,

Us being here and you being there makes you sad at times, we know.

The hurt it has caused you, in more ways than one it shows.

We loved our Earthly home and the family you gave us all,

but we had important work to do here - a job that's not small.

We are God's angels now; with wings full and bright.

We meet all newcomers at the door when their turns come in sight.

We are not in a sad place; not a tear here does fall,

but that does not mean we don't miss you; we miss it all.

However, we know that one day you'll be here and we will meet you at the gate,

With our tails a waggin and purrs a roarin loud, oh won't it be great!!!!

For now, we have a mission that only you can partake.

Every day you feel sad, remember to smile on the memories we make.

I am up here with Dante and Suzette - those silly dogs are still as happy as can be.

I have to put them in their places when they get a bit rowdy!!!

We have met so many new furriends that we cannot keep track,

Six long months !!

Hey Rov,

Mommy wanted to thank you for meeting little Dante at the Bridge earlier this week! You were a good boy to have Tiffy and her family there with you...I knew I could count on you. Yes, that was Susie that brought him to the Bridge. She is thrilled that her boyfurriend is finally with her furever.....and she came to our house early, early on Monday morning to go with him to meet you all.

Mommy is very sad about Dante leaving, and now tomorrow will be 6 months that you have been gone. Mommy is still not over you leaving her yet either! I still look for you when I get out of the shower and for you sitting on the cable box.

I miss you Rov but now you have little Dante up there with you. Protect him buddy....watch after your brofur for mommy.

My Birthday is March 21......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.....HAPPY BIRRRRTHDAY TO MEEEEEE....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !!!

Gosh, *wiping a tear* this is my first birthday away from home. I will miss my mommy singing to me alllll day. And I will miss the chili she always had for me, and then the icing (I know I liked crazy foods).

I hope mommy knows that I am doing great up here and I am waiting close to the Bridge so when she comes I won't be far away. I will be sooo happy to see her again, but I am content now to fly over to the cloud bank with my pal Fancy Pants and check on her often.

Tomorrow is the 11th again !!

It is Mommy writing to you Rov to let you know how very much I still love you and how much I miss you every single day. I cannot believe it has been 5 months that you left me. I know we talked about a lot of stuff that morning that we went to the doctor the last time, but I think I forgot to tell you that when my time comes that you need to be at the Bridge to meet me! Please Rov, have fun being the boss of the kitties up there, but don't forget me buddy. Remember to bring Tiffy and all the other kitties and doggies that I have had during all my years with you along with Fancy Pants, Anna, Bear Doggie, Bushey, Frisky, Suzette, and Garth so I can meet them too.

Wishey is still trying to get the bed laying down, but he still wiggles too much. Every now and then he will lay down like you used to and when he does I do thank him.

Your birthday is pretty soon. I hope you have a wonderful birthday at the Bridge....just know that I will be thinking about you all day on the 21st and I will sing to you just like I always have.

I love you Rov and miss you more than you ever could imagine. I am getting better.....I still have your necklace on and I will not ever take it off. It makes me feel better when I reach up and hold it.

I am sorry too that I couldn't make you better. God knows money was no issue.....just nothing could help. Know you will always have a special place in my heart that nobody nor any little animal (as much as I love them too) can fill.

My New Wings Made Mommy Smile !!

Oh Miss Ginger,

You are sooooo nice and talented and wonderful to make my new wings....they put a reallly big smile on mommy's face today! Thank you, thank you!

For you that don't know her, Miss Ginger is a doxy who has a guinea pig (Muffin) brofur. My earth sisfur, Smoochie, and Muffin are realllllly good furriends. He is really cute and there are pictures on Smoochie's page of him.

Miss Ginger is the one who made Tiffy and Bear Doggie's engagement pictures too. You all know Tiffy...my cute little sisfur that when I was born thought I was her baby. Silly girl....she is a D O G and I am a C A T. *snickering* I guess when I was a little baby I did look like a baby yorkie. *shrugging cause he was too little to remember then*
