My birthday

Well can you believe it, my mom has been so crazy busy here at home she forgot mine and Melman's birthday!!
It was June 9 and I am now 2 years old. That ain't no way to treat a princess.
My mom felt really bad and she honestly thought our birthday was later in the month.
You know the good thing about this, GUILT. Guilt will get me extra treats and pressies!! Hehehehe

Oooh, dog drool

I am sorry I haven't updated my diary sooner. Life is razy again in our house.
Our family was sad last month when my sisfur Bonnie crossed to the rainbow bridge. She was a sweet girl who never bothered us cats at all.
Since then a new dog has joined the family and she is a 6 month old bullmastiff puppy and her name is Chloe.
Man oh man, what was my family thinking???
She farts, she drools, she chases us. She doesn't bark much though. We hate it when Hoover barks and howls at us with his foul breath :)
Anyways, I wanted to wish all my kitty furends a Happy St. Pattys Day and a Happy Easter too!!
We get birthday cake on St Patty day, it is my human brothers 9th birthday. Look out crumbs, here I come LOL

This is silly

We just had to share this with others as I am sure many have heard of this website Neopets, and have children who play on this site.
My 9 year old human brother started an account on this site due to his love of animals, especially dogs and created the user name wwjd4u4me.
His account was frozen within 2 days due to this user name and neopets states that this user name is bad language and offensive to others.
Not once did they ask what this user name means and when my mom contacted them about it they refused to respond to the email.
My other human brother who is 8, they just deleted his account without any warning at all.
The initials, wwjd4u4me, it means what would jesus do 4 you 4 me.
If they can ban a kid for this user name I question their moral ethics and neopets is just not allowed in this house and neither are the toys.

Meet Zombie

Hi everyone
I just wanted you to meet a very special, very pretty lady named Zombie.
Zombie belongs to my human mum's parents who live in Comox BC Canada.
Zombie started out as my mum's brothers cat but when he moved into a new place he couldn't take Zombie so my mums parents took her in. Not long after taking her in they found out she was pregnant.
My mums brother died in 1994 so Zombie stayed with my mums parents.
Zombie had 4 kittens in 1990 and 2 were given away and 2 were kept, Misty and Tigger. Misty and Tigger died 2 years ago of old age at the age of 17 but Zombie has outlived her kids and refuses to give up.
She takes medicine daily, sometimes she gets constipated and also her back legs have arthritis now and don't bend so well but she is as beautiful as ever and still keeps on ticking.
We love you Zombie.

Another diary update

Hi everyone

Well I don't really have a lot of interesting things to tell ya.
I spend my days playing chase with Melman. It is a blast jumping from furniture to furniture.
Dogs can be a pain in the butt. At least he isn't drooling on us lately like he used to. He also doesn't chase us as much anymore.
Not much to do as an indoor cat but it isn't safe for Melman and I to go outdoors in our neighborhood. Cats go out and never return. Scary huh?
Well I am off to go hunt down some beanie babies, bring them upstairs and drop them on the floor for my mum and then meow at the top of my lungs over my "catch". Yesterday I bagged an elephant!!!!

I love Spring

Hi everyone
Boy do I love spring and the warmer weather. I love sitting in the window in the sunshine and having a big nap.
Not much is new in my life, just living the cushy life.

Home from the vet

Hi everyone
Well I am home from the vet. Things went well and I was a very good kitty.
My mum keeps telling me not to lick my stitches or she will have to put a "lampshade" on my head. Whatever that means. All I know is that my tummy is itchy.
I get the stitches out in 10 to 12 days.
Melman is happy I am home and Hoover can't stop sniffing me.
I am so happy to be home. Eventually I will go lay down and have a nap but right now I am just happy to toodle about the house being my usual skittish self.

Off to the vet

Hi everyone
Well I am starving this morning. I have had nothing to eat since 8pm last night. Mum says it cause I have to go to the vet.
At 8:30 this morning she took me into the vet, I am very scared. I am going to miss my family.
She says I am going to be spayed. Whatever that means. I have to stay overnight and she will pick me up tomorrow morning at 9:30.
She gave me lots of love and told me that I will be just fine.
The lady at the vet told me that I was beautiful and gave me lots of attention so maybe it won't be so bad.

Update from Lily

Well my mom figured it was time for me to update my diary.
My mom thinks I am a just a wee bit crazy.
Every night after everyone goes to bed and the lights are out and it is quiet I begin to meow at the top of my lungs. While I am doing this I begin to drag every stuffed animal of every size and shape and line them up down the hallway to the livingroom.
I don't find this behavior weird at all. I am a picture of mental health.
Also, everyone in my human family constantly reminds me that none of them are exactly lactating and don't have any plans to. So I like to suck on their shirts. No big deal.
Well enough of that. I am going to go do some counter surfing and then off to take a cat nap.
