Arrival Story:
Scooter and Munchie moved in with my mother's boyfriend. He just, out of the blue, decided to move in. I wasn't thrilled until I saw the kittens. They were still quite little, and the cutest things I'd ever seen, from the same litter. Scooter is a boy, and Munchkin is a girl. They had no name for Munchkin yet, and she was so teeny tiny, smaller than her brother, but not by too much, so I decided to call her Munchkin. Munchie for short. They were little devils! They got into everything, unfortunately. Scooter even peed on my mother's carpet. In fact, now, even though Mom has changed the carpeting, Squeakers still goes to that same spot where he sprayed! They loved to lie on my desk chair, of course, because it was leather! They both had all claws intact, so they, of course, dug their claws into the chair. Years, after they left this Earth, I still remembered them by their claw markings

I was quite rebellious back then, and I just refused to take my medications. I hated taking so many meds, now I accept it and get on with my day-to-day life, but back then I felt it ruled my world, and I hated it! So, I would hide my pills under my bed. Okay, I was young and stupid. Well, curious kitties that they were, Scooter and Munchie would crawl under the bed, and still kittens, thinking they were treats, they ate my pills. Months went by and they got very ill. Munchie had to be put to sleep, and Scooter was on the verge, but survived for a short time after that, but was sent to live with someone else. Oh, to this day, I really regret what I did to those poor kitties, I love them still, so very much. Their lives were taken at such a young age! I make sure I take much better care of Squeakers
