Before mommy and daddy adopted me my fur was so matted the cat rescue place had to shave most of it off. It wasn
"Before mommy and daddy adopted me my fur was so matted the cat rescue place had to shave most of it off. It wasn't a very pleasant place to be in; they treated everyone in there mean and couldn't wait to send me on my way to Rainbow Bridge."

Those were some really scary times but luckily this group rescued me and adopted me out to mommy and daddy.

When I got home i was sooo terrified I would scurry under couches or find random places to hide in, away from everyone else.

Those were some difficult times and I felt quite lonely and isolated. I really had a hard time trusting humans.

However, I started liking my new place and it was beginning to seem more and more likely that I could trust mommy and daddy and that they wouldn

And I would snuggle up next to them when they slept.

I began to let loose, lay back, become myself. It feels awesome to be around so much love and to be in a place where I know noone would ever hurt me.

Arrival Story:
Drew was slated for euthanasia at a shelter in Martinez, Ca before he was rescued by Tuffie's Animal Rescue. When he was found by his foster parents his fur was so matted they had to shave most of it off. He was a very timid, skiddish kitty and hid under the couch for close to six months. He started getting used to his new environment though and as his fur grew back so did his trust. Drew came out of his shell and became the cutest most cuddliest snuggle bunny EVER. His foster parents became his real parents and they are keeping him forever.
