Arrival Story:
Stormy is one of the first of 32 cats I removed from Albany's homeless camp Boondoggle. The City of Albany decided to evict homeless campers and bulldoze this longstanding homeless camp. The campers had many cats, all unfixed, and all severely flea infested. Stormy was in Rick and Hillbilly's camp. She had two kittens, her first litter. One of the kittens was much larger than the other. I found out later she misplaced all but one of her own first litter, when moving them. Several days later, she returned to camp carrying a kitten she had stolen from another mother cat in the camps. Later, when I had both Stormy and Misty in my bathroom, Misty with four kittens, Stormy aggressively attacked Misty if she came off the bathroom counter. She then stole Misty's four kittens. Later, however, when she discovered I had cat toys, she abandoned Misty's kittens, and her own, altogether. So Misty fed all six.

Bio:
Stormy and Misty were both adopted as shop and garage mousers by a local physician, who loves them dearly. She'd never met a cat like Stormy, whom, she said, would body slam the kitchen door, when she wanted in. They came back here for two weeks in October, while the good doctor was off in Spain. It was great to see them again. We had a good time.
