Arrival Story: Ely was one of 16 kittens I removed from a trailer park after being called by multiple tenants about a trailer park "overrun with cats".

Bio: Ely went to live in Oakridge, in a yurt. One day, a year or more after he went there, on the fourth of July, he got out and was never seen again. This broke my heart, as well as the heart of his adoptor. She still hopes one day she will find Ely. Ely used to reach out, when she lay in bed, and gently touch her arm with his paw. Ely was a beautiful cat. He and his brother Jacob were the first two kittens I netted the first night I entered that trailer park. The park is different now. I got, in total, 90 cats, strays and owned, fixed at that park, over two months time, and just before my right leg gave up function, due to a disc crushed across the nerve. I was hoping to get all the cats fixed in that park, before the pain became too intense to continue and before my leg failed, because the nerve got crushed out. I did, too.
