Her human dad was working on the railroad in a signal tower. The engineer of a commuter train, stopped at a station, noticed some young punks place a box on the track about 100 yards down, then run and hide. He moved the train, stopped short of the box, got off the head end, opened the box and found three itty-bitty kittens inside. They hadn't even been weaned yet, they were so small they fit in the palm of his hand. He took the box of kittens and stopped at the signal tower, dropped the kittens off. All of the kittens were adopted by railroaders. We know Tina's brother now lives in Florida with his retired adoptive mom. I don't know the name of the engineer who cared enough to stop the train, but every time I see Tina I thank you!
Bio:
Tina's human mom named her because she was so teeny-tiny. Today she is a big girl! She is almost all white, with patches and polka dots of orange and black.
