Floofy appeared on our porch one day, showing substantial suspiciousness regarding homo sapiens. Theories...alien time-traveler, emissary from God, refugee from a purebred cat show or roadside dumpee.
Bio:
Major attribute: World's most loyal cat; so much so, that his heart was 3 sizes too large. (This was confirmed by the vet). Once aided in the dramatic dispatch of a fox on the porch of our house, with the assitance of Gary...and a 3-foot sword. Vigilantly patroled the perimeter with Gary in search of interlopers, at great personal risk, due to severe heart condition. Fearless nevertheless. Hobbies: World's Best Kitten-Sitter...when not busy keeping the free world safe from Velox Vulpes. Slightly cross-eyed and deaf, but somehow he always knew when Gary had come outside...tracking him by scent alone. Odd toneless meows, which normally came in pairs of 3. Floofy Will passed away on Oct. 22, 2007, after rapidly losing dramatic amounts of weight, which the vet attributed to geriatric organ failure. He was laid to rest on a blanket from the bushel basket in the garage where he slept...usually with Ronnie or Baxter...beneath his favorite patch of catnip. Floofy lies wrapped in one of Gary's leather coats, accompanied by his all-time favorite things...catnip, the very patch of porch-carpet which he utilized for so long to keep his claws super-sharp and at-the-ready, and the presence of Gary.
