Arrival Story:
This is Mooch's story-
As someone who has eight cats already, ( and I know to some of
you out there that is just a starter kit) I felt that eight in the house was plenty. This kitten had just came out of nowhere, like
they always do, and was begging for a handout. While I was not
willing to take anymore in, I did not want to see him,or any other
cat go hungry. So he learned that if he came by on a regular basis, I would feed nim. In fact he learned the sound of my garage door opener, and would show up every morning as I went
to work, and came home for lunch. And if I got the truck out,there he was. This went on for about a month, and he was
starting to become as dependable as the garage door, it would
go up, cat would show up. Now by this time, I have to say that I
was starting to develop an affection for this cat. He,(and I say, he
because I had not given him a name. If you name them, that means they have one paw in the door!) was very loveable, and
always up for a good pettin. One night last week I had to get something out of the garage,up went the door, out came the cat.
But this time when he came, he was walking slow,and limping!
As he came closer, ( he always ran to me, and begged for love.) I
could see that there was blood on his leg. When I picked him up,
( he always let me pick him up,-sweet aint it!) I could see a long
nasty gash in his leg. There was no doubt that this cat needed
medical help if it was going to live! I wrapped him in a towel and called my vet. This was about 8:30 pm., the vet. said he could be at his office by 9:00. So I put the cat in a small open
box in the front seat of the truck with me and off we went. Now
most of my cats dont like to ride in the truck, why, I dont know.
But this cat was no exception, I could see that he was afraid. I
put the box over by me so I could comfort him, and he pulled
his head and two front paws up on my leg, and layed there and
purred all the way to the vet. I was amazed that he still wanted
to be loved at a time like that! When we got to the vet., he said
that it was a dog bite, but it looked like the cat was going to be ok. My vet asked me what the cats name was, I said that it was a
stray, and I was unsure if I was going to keep him or not. ( I was
in denial at the time ) My vet. said if I was not going to keep him,
that they would try and find him a home, and that I could call
and check on him Sat. I went by Sat. to see how the cat was doing, and the vet. said that "Joe" was doing fine and could go home on Monday. I asked, why Joe, and the vet. said he looked
like a Joe.( he didnt look like a Joe to me, but Iam not a vet.)
Well when Monday came around I could not bear the thought
of Mooch going to another persons home. So I guess, as person
with nine cats in the house, all I can tell you that is when Fate
sends another one your way, just open the door and let it in.

I want to thank all of my friends who left me the gifts for Christmas. There is no way Meowmy can respond personally to you all. But please know that we love all of our friends & truly appreciate the rememberances !!!

MY AUNTIE RHONDA SAID THAT MY MOMMY IS GONNA FAINT
WHEN SHE GETS HOME THIS WEEK-END AND SEES ALL OF THESE NEW COLLARS ON OUR PAGES!!!!!!
PURR-HAPS BY NEXT WEEK....MOMMY AND AUNTIE RHONDA CAN WORK TOGETHER AND REPAY SOME OF THESE.
WE LOVE OUR COLLARS AND OUR FRIENDS VERY DEARLY.

MY AUNTIE RHONDA (KARMA KITTY'S) MOMMY IS TYPING THIS FOR ME.
MY DADDY AND MOMMY ARE ON VACATION UNTIL NEXT WEEK-END AND WE ARE BEING GIVEN A TON OF THE NEW FEBREZE COLLARS....SO I AM THANKING ALL OF YOU
AUNTIE RHONDA WAS GOING TO RETURN FOR US....BUT, SHE CANNOT EVEN CATCH UP RETURNING THEM FOR KARMA AND HER BROTHERS.
ALL HUMANS IN OUR FAMILY ARE OFFICIALLY BUSY FOR AT LEAST THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
WE WISH WE COULD DO A MORE PROPER "THANK YOU".
