My newest rosie from Tyler

He's such a wonderful poet. I had to share this because I'm so proud of his way with words, and of how kind he is:

"Swayback oh pretty puss,
What do you say to us
Cuddling up tight,
On a dark starry night,
While the wind howls above
The cathouse so snug,
And we sip on milk,
Telling tales of our ilk?

Crazy in love with my Fat Tabby,
Mr Boombastic - yes that'"

Awww. How awesome is he?

Here was my inferior reply:

"Sweet Sir Boombastic,
your proposal sounds fantastic.
I would love to embrace you
under a sky starry and blue,
eating some catgrass
and just being your lass.
(You're clearly the poet in this relationship, but I had to try).

. . . and then I got cut off. Whatever. I love him.

My rosie from Tyler

I was already having a good day. The weather's nice and it's cool because it rained and everything smells fresh and summer-y. Then I got a rosette from my Tyler, and now it's a totally pawesome day. The rosie reads:

"Here's a beach ball with a kiss,
catch it on your nose, sweet miss;
Who else could love ole one-eyed me
But my lovely Swayback a.k.a Fat Tabby?"

How could I NOT love 'ole one-eyed' Tyler? He's so lovelable, eloquent, and gorgeous. I adore my tabby sweetheart. I hear he may have somewhat of a fascination with
Calvin's weather pixie, but it sounds pretty harmless. I'm hoping for cool weather in Kentucky.

My Seven Facts

1) Everyone loves me. I hang with Charlie and Lefty, I hang with the loner ferals, and I even hang near the raccoons sometimes. I usually sleep holed-up with Patches in a cathouse. She doesn't curl up with anyone else.

2) I love everyone. I get along with any cats, and with people. radley hangs with me in the window sometimes, and the lady who lives behind us loves me too. I'm her favorite. We're lucky she lets us go in her yard, bless her heart. I walk right up to the Nice Food Lady and I always pose for her pics, even if she didn't come out to shoot me specifically.

3) I have amazing eyes. The camera doesn't really express the yellow flecks and dark green outer rings. I know how pretty they are too, and do that thing where I blink really hard, but slowly a bunch of times because it is just too cute for words.

4) I always join in the fun of helping the Charlie and Nero hunt, but I never kill anything myself as far as the Nice Food Lady has seen. Even Lefty (the older, slightly disabled Blackie) gets a chipmunk every now again [which is, by the way, very encouraging to the Nice Food Lady, who has a messed-up left arm right now], but not me. I have 0 confirmed kills.

5) I love Tyler. He is older than myself and a bit wiser. I know this is supposed to be my 7 facts, but I just wanted to say how lucky I am to have such a wonderful, gorgeous, funny, talented pole cat of a sweetheart. He's the best.

6) Tylerina must be my sister, because our eyes are both that amazing green color that is so rare.

7) Shhhhhhh. I'm the one who munches all the cat grass. It's me.
