Arrival Story:
Velvet lived with a foster mom from the same shelter we got Cleo from. She was feral at first and was born on the street. Slowly, she decided that living with people would be a good idea. She then decided that living with people and other cats would be even better!
Bio:
Velvet is extraordinary. She's been through quite a lot in her young life, and she's got the most optimism you'll ever see. Quite a nice addition to our family!

I love kneading. That's what mom and dad call it! I like to snuggle up and pretend like they're cats. Mom says it puts her to sleep!
I hope Cleo doesn't play rough with me today. It's her birthday!

I wanted to write and say hello. My name is Velvet. My new mommie and daddy were going to name me Sheeba, but they said they liked my foster mom and dad so much, they kept the name they gave me. Fostermom and dad were really good to me. They said that I was "feral," whatever that means. I wasn't so sure about people until I met them, and now I love ALL humans! Seriously. I love people.
I also really, really love other kitties. I know that Cleo is having a hard time sharing with me right now, but we're getting better. I want to be able to snuggle with her sometime soon. Right now, she's not interested, but I think deep down, she's looking forward to a good snuggle. Who doesn't like to snuggle?
maybe she's just mad because I used her litterbox. I hope not. I didn't know where else to go!
