Arrival Story:
I got Duremaphon from a breeder for a pal for Gaelapeer so when I was working they would have companionship.

Bio:
Duremaphon's name was also made up from different letters that described him. It is pronounced Dream-upon. Duremaphon and Gaelapeer were very attached to each other and played endlessly together. What I found when I came home sometimes, almost made me cry. They would jump from plant to plant and of course as they jumped from one plant it went crashing to the floor after they jumped. Duremaphon loved going camping with my Girl Scout troops but at least he didn't climb the fir trees and get sap all over himself like Gaelapeer did. He loved to play chase with Gaelapeer. When he went to the vet, he would try to hide inside my clothes and it always made the vet laugh. In my senior year in college, Duremaphon developed heart problems and was being treated. I was rushing him to the vet on an emergency visit and he died just as I got to his office on January 24, 1982. The vet tried to revive him but Duremaphon went to Rainbow Bridge. I was so devastated I called my parents and was crying that my baby died and my parents thought I was my sister and that my niece had died. It took a few minutes for my parents to register that it was my Duremy that had passed away. My Daddy made a wonderful coffin for him and he is buried on the property that I now own. Rest my little boy and I will see you again in heaven.
