Well, My dad saw a cat outside that looked like it was hurt because it was limping a few winters ago. He opened the door a crack to our heated garage to let it get warm. It turned out it wasn't hurt it just had three legs. Plus, it was a girl, and it was pregnant. She had seven kittens in our garage and we got to take care of all of them! It was so much fun! But, we had two indoor cats already and we figured that eight plus the two inside, plus a few strays that we feed was a little much! So we kept three, Dramedy, Bella, and Hawkins!

Hawkins was named after the lead singer and guitar player in a wonderful band called The Darkness, Justin and Dan Hawkins!!
