Arrival Story:
I had the screen door open, and Buddy just walked in.

Buddy's story: I was sick and my owners "let me go". I wandered around for a little while. Since I was still a kitten, I was not sure what to do or where to go. I walked to the end of this street, and wandered around. I saw this lady with her door open, so I ran for it. Been here ever since. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As I said, I was sick which is probably why I got dropped off. I sure did pick the right house to wander into. It was starting to get cold outside, and I was getting scared. This lady took me to a nice guy in a white coat. He checked me over, and said two words I learned mommy does not like. "Uh Oh". Maybe he could figure out why I was sick and fix me. Well, he figured out why I was sick, but fixing would not be so easy. I tested positive for FHV. So thats why I felt yukky. My eye was in bad shape. Since I was a kitten, the man in the white coat said we need to take this one step at a time. All I know is there was alot of medicine involved, and I had to have drops in my eye every 2 hours. I hated it. But, now I realized that mommy, daddy and the vet saved my life. Mommy was a hound dog about my medicine. She would chase little me all over till she caught me. I later learned not to run, because the medicine was coming anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am now 7 years old, symptom free. Mommy cannot have me in any stressful situations and daddy babies me. Daddy is the one who wanted to keep me. I was named after big Orange Buddy, because he passed away a week after I found my home. He had diabetes, and it was his time. I cannot be around dogs. So, what did mom and dad do, they went and got two dogs. But, when they come in, I am safe in the bathroom. We never see each other. I don't like dogs anyway, so it works for me just fine. I have a pampered and spoiled life. I am not supposed to go outside, but I am very skilled at escaping. I should learn that escape means bath, but I keep on doing it. I like to hang out with Molly. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ My advice? Get your kittens and puppies their basic vaccinations! I am lucky I have rich parents. MOL!!!! They can afford my treatments. Others do not have it so good. I know I am very fortunate! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ UPDATE! BUDDY,DYLAN MISSY, AND OLIVIA WERE TAKEN TO A NO-KILL PRO LIFE SHELTER, WHERE THEY CAN LIVE OUT THEIR LIVES IN LUXURY IF THEY ARE NOT ADOPTED. THEY ARE AT SPCA-LA COMPANION ANIMAL CENTER IN THE KITTY CITY. THEY ARE NOT IN CAGES. THERE ARE MANY ROOMS WHERE THE CATS CAN KICK BACK AND RELAX, PLAY, GO OUTSIDE TO A PROTECTED AREA. I HAD 9 CATS AND NO HOME. MY FAMILY PAID FOR 4 OF MY CATS TO LIVE AT THE COMPANION ANIMAL CENTER. I WAS ABLE TO KEEP PAISAN, CHASE (RIP) SASHA, WHISKERS AND HEIDI. EVA AND RAVEN WERE KEPT BY MY EX, AS HE GREW VERY ATTACHED TO THEM. IT WAS THE BEST THING I COULD DO FOR THEM, AND MY FAMILY PAID ALOT OF MONEY FOR THEM TO LIVE IN THIS ULTRA MODERN CAT ENVIRONMENT.

As you all know, I am an escape artist. Well, this time it did not work out good for me at all. I think mom is in cahoots with the yappers next door, specifically the largest one~Valentino. These are Shih-Tsu dogs. Valentino loves mom like crazy. He always has. Well, I was cruising around in the drive way. I was intercepted by Valentino. He chased me back up toward the porch. Mom came out to try and track me down. She started cracking up at the sight of Valentino chasing me, and my eyes really big. I willingly went back into the house. I did not have to get a bath because I did not even have a chance to get dirty this time. Darn that Valentino!
