Well, here I am in our new home. Today I went outside for the first time--after Meowmy dragged us to what she calls the teaching hospital--where she will learn to be a *sigh* V-E-T. It's been almost a month since I last wrote. We've finally moved into our new home here in Tennessee, and we've been busy unpacking and settling in. My favorite hangout is right over the air vents--that's where the cool air comes from! Aaahhh!! But I do enjoy the front porch--Meowmy thinks I have the makings of a true southern gentlecat...drinking catnip juleps on the front porch does sound dignified & refreshing!! I hope you all are having a lovely summer!
Meow Furts! I report to you this evening from Lexington, Kentucky. I saw a few interesting place names along the road today: Burnt Prairie, Gravyville, & Santa Claus! Who wouldn't want to live in a place called Gravyville? We got to check into our hotel early today--Meowmy says about 3 hours of driving 'til Knoxville tomorrow--location of her V-E-T school, and soon-to-be our new home! But what was really cool was that around the time we stopped fur lunch, Meowmy told us that we were in our OF furiend, Calvin's, hometown: Louisville! I swore, I suddenly felt his kneading vibes! I wonder if he felt a wave of my handsomeness overcome him? Well, that's about all fur today...I think I'll fall asleep under our hotel room nightstand...looks like a comfy spot! Purrs!
Meowlo, Furts! Just thought I'd meow at you from our stop on the way to meowmy's V-E-T school in Tennessee. Right now we're at our grandpawrents' house in Denver--we've been chillin' here for a week. But tomorrow the road trip begins again (growl). If we missed your birthday, I meow you my apologies, but I was probably stuck in a carrier in Meowmy's car, driving through the desert somewhere (there's not a lot to look at out there, furts), and listening to my brofur Bugsy meowing (and helping him out at times). At first we saw the usual palm trees going past our windows, then a long time of nothing. Then we saw big, striped, weird, square, mountains, which made me go quiet mid-meow. Now, we get afternoon showers and neighbor hoomans yelling at each other--good drama to snack to!
Well, I hope everyfurt in Catsterland is well and having a purrtastic summer...and fur those who are feeling a little furty, we send you our purrs. Meowmy finally got a 'puter with what she calls "why-fi", which might help us give you better roadtrip reporting. Purrs.
