Arrival Story:
After a few weeks of thinking about it, my dad and I decided to adopt a cat, since our landlord doesn't permit dogs and my own dogs are in Carrollton. There were several specifications that had to be met and for a while, we couldn't find the right cat. Finally, we started going to various Petsmarts, looking at the adoptable cats there. At the first Petsmart, no one caught our eyes, so we went to the other one, and the very last cat we looked at - "Blueberry" - was perfect. We put in an application and the next day, we were approved!
Bio:
Though my dad is secure in his masculinity, having a cat named "Blueberry" was pushing it, and so we brought out the name we had been considering - Rosalita, after the Bruce Springsteen song (he's what you might call a fanatic). The nickname of Rosie came naturally. When I moved out, Rosie stayed with my dad and my little brother, but I still consider her part of my family.
