Arrival Story:
Snow was rescued and posted on a Siamese rescue. I immediately fell in love with his disposition and his ears. He was a shy little boy, but soon came out of shell. He loved playing in the water, splashing it around with his paws. He often slept on the back of the couch and talked to the birds. He joined my son, another cat and I in a loft-style townhome in the Winter of 2004.

Snow, LC (Large Cat), my son and I met another cat lover - Scott. Scott was a dear friend, recently single due to the devestating death of his wife. Scott and I became dear friends and eventually determined to merge our families together. Despite our effort to merge our homes, our son, and the kitties with as much care as possible, we soon realized we had two kitties in poor health. One kitty is older and has a failing kidney, and we are nurturing him along and he is doing well. The other kitty, my dear cat Snow, quickly became lethargic and terribly sick. He was tentatively dianosed with Fatty Liver Disease (aka Yellow Cat, aka Feline Hepatic Lipidosis.) After a series of blood tests, we deduced that it likely was a valid diagnoses. Instead of investing hundreds into more testing, we began treating for the initial diagnoses and following our vet's hunch. Please keep our kitty in your thoughts. Update (January 2007) Snow is doing much better, he is eating & drinking on his own and every day he seems to get friskier and friskier. I had no idea how much he was like a kitten! He has been running around the house with our new kitten and having a ball.
