Dear Readers,

My Girl has written some more poems, Heres one...

Who Do You Go To?

When You Lose A Close Friend
To Deep Darkness And Drugs
And It Feels Like The End
Who Do You Go To?

When The Rough Road Goes Dark
And You're At A Dead End
Out In A Scary Park
Who Do You Call Out To?

When Your Day Has Been Rough
And Your Life Falls Apart
And You've Just Had Enough
Who Do You Talk To?

When The Lights Go Out
And All You See Is Darkness
And No One Is About
Who Do You Call To Your Side?

Tell Me Before Your Friends
When Your Sins Are Hard To Bear
How Do You Make Amends?
Do You Take It To The Lord?

~"My Girl"

Dear Readers,

Still searching for Hylie, Cole, and Willie. So far theres no sign of them. My Girl said the last time she saw them was at the house by the windows. She said they were acting normal as usual. No strange behavior. So why did they leave? Unless it wasn't by will. My Girl is getting restless. She goes out every morning calling for them. I hope they're ok. It's been a week since anyones seen them. I'm worried not only about them, but about My Girl too.

Hugs and Prays,
Hyacinth

Dear Readers,

I've never been so worried! Cole and Willie, 2 of my adopted brothers, are missing. I haven't seen them for at least 3-4 days. Last time I saw Cole was when he and I got into a fight infront of My Girl, but now he's gone! What do I do?

And to make it worse, Hylie, my adopted sister and neighbor, was missing this morning at feeding time. I hope she comes back. This happened before with my sisters and brothers. I don't want it to happen again. Expecinally since Hylie has kittens.

I need advice!

Hugs, Hyacinth

Escape Plan B: No Turning Back

November 16th 2007 11:40 am

Dear Readers,

I told them not to do it!! I told them not to leave or they’ll get caught, but as usual they didn’t listen and their curiosity got the best of them. Those gals, I can tell you now, aren’t street smart and they’re easily spotted out of a crowd. They don’t know how to blend in with the crowd like me and my fellow kittie friends, but they still did it. Although, you do have to admire their determination to cross their fears and walk down the open world by themselves.

Hamlet, Dewy, and Cupcake decided to go on a trip yesterday. It wasn’t new news to me when Digger the Dog started barking at them because they were out of their pens. They always got out and My Girl and her brother always put them back up. Well, that wasn’t the case yesterday. Yesterday, My Girl and her brother were at school, and, to the pigs, this was the perfect timing for their Great Escape!

It was planned perfectly. Dewy, the escape artist, broke the gate of the pen down. Since she was in the pen by herself, she knew she had to find her other 2 friends and bust them out as well. As she made her way towards Hamlet and Cupcake’s pen, she was spotted! Digger the Dog saw her and sent off the alarm, announcing to Tell, Cap, and Glynn (the neighbors), that Dewy was in the wind! Dewy busted out her friends, and started down the long driveway towards freedom.

When they made it to the end of the driveway, I managed to catch up with them and asked where they were going. However, they only grunted at me and started up the big, hill road without another word. I watched them through the woods near the ditches of the road. They managed to make it to the top of the hill without getting hit by oncoming trucks and cars. The Neighbor, a human who works with horses at the top of the hill, just happened to come outside and see these escape artists walking up from the
hill and towards his house. The horses there, whom have never seen pigs nor have the pigs seen horses before, were stomping and snorting around their pastures, scaring Hamlet and Cupcake back down the hill. Dewy, who never liked being alone in a new place followed. The Neighbor went back inside his house and, from what I can assume, called Dr. Dad and Mama cause about 5 minutes later My Girl showed up with her brother and they found Dewy, Hamlet, and Cupcake in another neighbor’s pasture.

By the end of the day, Hamlet, Dewy, and Cupcake had been grounded to their pens for a month, and they couldn’t have no pears, no walks, and no special scraps for a week. Poor babies. Dewy, though, still thinks she can make up a plan to escape the pens and go on a adventure with her friends.

14 KITTIES!!

Dear Readers,

I'm confused! My food bowel has been moved!!! This is outrageous!! I will not stand for this. My Girl and momma moved it onto of this big box, and all 14 of us cats can't fit on top of there. My Girl and momma realised this problem when they counted us this morning. 14!! Momma's schedualing (sp!) some appointments with Dr. Dad, if you know what I mean. The kitties can stay if they're "fixed." I don't know what My Girl met by that, but she said I don't have to worry about it. So no visit to the Bed and Breakfast Clinic for me!

Well, Must go clean up the leftovers from breakfast!

Who Wants Catnip!

Dear Readers,

I've been hereing stories around the farm. Its about a creature with white and black all over it and the attitude of a spoiled kitten. Her name is Catnip, the new barn kitty. Dr. Dad brought her home from the Bed and Breakfast Clinic. I don't know the whole story, but she is so needy on "MY" Girl, and she is sooooo pushy. She always runs me off when I'm with My Girl. I mean, what have I done to her!!

So I've been a little cranky lately.

Poor Ced is sick. He's got a horrible cough and snotty nose! My Girl gave him a shot last night to help him, poor goat. At least he was eating this morning.

Well, I gotta go!

The Snoring Barn!

Dear Readers,

We have a new arrival in the farm!! It's small, its scary, and it sleeps in the mud. Yep, you guessed it, it's another baby pig. Doctor Dad brought it home last night while we were all sleeping. Did you know that pigs can snore!?! Well, this one does, and it didn't stop there! The snoring went from one pen to the other. If someone were to walk out of the brick house, they would have thought the barn was snoring itself!! MOL!

Well, write to ya later!

The Excape Artists: Leo and Cedric

Dear Readers,

Brrr!!! It's already October and it's FREEZING!!! My Girl and her brother were outside in the rain yesterday working. I don't know how they do it without a fur coat like us kitties. Poor things. At least they have those big coats to cover them.

Leo and Cedric, the goats, had these blankets put on them yesterday because of the cold. They had been clipped a couple of weeks ago for a show so their fur is really short. Good thing My Girl's momma ordered them a week earlier!!
Leo and Cedric have been getting out of there pens lately. The pen they are in is really old and the wire is so rusted that if you just bend it, it will break. Well, they've been finding those spots where its rusted and pushing the gates to get out. Smart Goats! When My Girl 1st found out they had gotten out she was scared. She didn't know if she would be able to catch them in the woods, and with Digger the dog running lose (she never had Digger and the goats together alone) she had to find them. However, She never expected to see them both on the front porch with Digger laying on the ground staring at her when she opened the house door. Digger was a good dog too when she rattled her feeding bucket and both goats followed her to the pen. It was a supprise to us all.

Well, my paws are cold again. Better get back under the heat lamp!!

Mystery of the Missing Farm Animals

October 11th 2007 7:20 am

Dear Readers,

I have a mystery to solve. I and my readers must go around the Farm to investigate what My Girl, the goats, and the pig were up to last week. Are you ready...

My Girl got back from the Tulsa State Fair! She has been up there all last week and I've missed her. I asked my fellow pig, Hamlet, on the farm what she's been up too and she told me she's been showing.

I've noticed that last week the goats, Leo and Cedric, were gone, but I thought they were on vacation. However, It turns out they were at the Tulsa State Fair for 3 days. Poor things. They were sooooooo happy to get out of there. Leo "baaed" to me that he saw a lot of goats up there. I asked him what place he got, but he said he was sifted ( didn't get placed ).

Next I went to this pig My Girl named Babe. She was also gone, but not at the same time as Leo and Cedric. I asked her if she was at the Tulsa State Fair and she said "Oink, YEAH!" "snort...snort" She told me she placed 8th out of about 15-20 pigs. I told her that was great!

Then I went to My Girl. She looked so tired like she hadn't slept well in days. I studied her. She seemed to happy, but exausted (sp!). I confronted her to see if the allibies (sp!) of the supposibly missing farm animals were true. She looked at me and said...."Are you playing Inspecter Hyacinth again?"

I've been caught!

Well, what else can I do on a Farm when My Girl is gone. LOL.

I wish I could come along and watch a livestock show. Babe said it was a lot of fun and she made many new friends.

Well, thats enough investigating for one day!

Hugs, Hyacinth
