indoors Arrival Story: My family lived in Frankfort, KY 11 years ago and this is where Calico, a stray kitty at the time, began to visit us. We tried to take good care of her while she lived outdoors, building a house for her to keep warm in the winter and making sure she was well fed year round! When it was time for us to move to Northern KY, we decided to take Calico with us since she was already like a part of the family. We took her to the vet to be neutered but the vet told us that she had a serious hernia. If we hadn't have brought her in to correct the hernia, it would have killed her within the month! Thank goodness we decided to adopt Calico and give her a new HEALTHY life! Calico passed away on December 13,2007. We will always love her and she will be greatly missed.
