I went to the vet yesterday. My pawrents were worried because I'd stopped pooping. They took me into see the nice lady to founded our vet clinic. She is mostly retired, so I'm glad to have seen her.
The vet oohed and awed about what a beautiful kitty I am. See said I was so sweet, and so impressive. She had me get an enema, and get 150 cc's sub-q fluids.
My pawrents will start giving me sub-q fluids every day for 3 days, and then once a day every 3 days. I feel better after getting out that poo and after getting rehydrated.
You would not believe how much weight I've lost! I am down to 5 lbs!!! Just two months ago, I weighed 8. Back in 2005, I weighed 16 lbs!
Thinks for the rosettes, emails, and sweet words. I feel all your wonderful purrs and kindness.
Love,

I am actually feeling a little bit better. You know how it is with ole furts. I'm up and down from one moment to the next.
My pawrents gave me three days of neosynephrine nasal spray directly into my nose! I get one drop in each nostril. It makes me sneeze, but then I can breathe! I am such a patient boy, that it doesn't even bother me.
So, now that I got my nose decongested, I can taste my food. Last night, I ate my TD tuna food and Cauliflower's salmon dinner. (Don't worry, Mom gave her extra. She's not anywhere near starving. Have you seen her lately? I digress...)
On Monday evening, I was so weak that I was dragging my back right foot behind me. This morning, I was up before Mom and waiting patiently by my food dish. I am still not meowing, yowling, or purring. I am snuggling with my pawrents, and eating.
Thanks for your purrs, purrayers, emails, gifts, and kind notes.
Purrs and kisses,

I have eaten some today. I had tuna juice, and a little bit of Trader Joe's tuna catfood. I look at my food dish, but don't have much interest once I taste it. Mom thinks that I have pretty much lost my sense of taste. I got a couple of cc's of chicken baby food via syringe. I didn't mind, because it was pretty yummy. I am very weak. I walk around a bit, but often give up halfway to my destination. I just need a lot of rest.
Mom & Dad are spending a lot of time with me. I have been held, and coaxed to eat many number of items. They have tried everything to make me feel better. I don't seem to be terribly uncomfortable--just tired. I haven't meowed, purred, or yowled for several days.
Purrrs,
