Arrival Story:
Keifer and his siblings came into the rescue as bottle babies, and I took them to foster. They had a rough time, and one sister died, but the other two were adopted successfully. Keifer was a special needs baby, who failed to thrive for about 9 months, and has juvenile cataracts.
Bio:
Keifer is a total lover! He follows me everywhere, and loves being held and petted. He knows his name and comes when called. And the Maine Coon's playful personality has come out in full force since he has overcome alot of his health problems. He' a real mischief maker and always into something!

Tonight Mama went next door for only half an hour to watch the little girl who lives there. When she came home she found that I had followed my big brother Ian to the Rainbow Bridge.
This time there was no question - it was our big-dog brother, Tucker. Mama doesn't know why he would start killing us kitties after he'd been living so well with us for so many months, but now she knows he killed my brother Ian and tonite, he killed me, too.
Mama is devastated. She can't believe she was right next door when all this happened and she should have been here to protect us. I'm trying to let her know that it wasn't her fault, but she's too upset to listen to me right now. Ian's trying too, but she just feels like she let us down when she should have protected us.
Please really pray for Mama and send lots of PoP to her. We're both here at the Rainbow Bridge with our siblings, but Mama & our earth fursiblings are really shook up right now.

Well, I finally made it! I'm one year old! And since my birthday, I've learned to do alot of new stuff, some of it that Mama doesn't really like. She just doesn't appreciate that I'm all grown up now!
I've gotten lots bigger in the last couple of months, and I love to wrestle with my brother, Ian. He's still bigger than me, but I win sometimes! And we have LOTS of fun, wrestling and chasing each other thru the house. My brother Geronimo will play chase with me sometimes, too. And I love climbing the cat tree and playing with the toys on it. It's also lots of fun to grab Mama when she walks by!
I also discovered girls this month. I've been sick for so long that Mama says I'm a "late bloomer" but I think I'm bloomed now! MOL Now Mama says since I'm so much healthier, I have to go in and "get fixed". She doesn't want any more kittens! Well, I guess that's okay - I'll still be the baby and get spoiled! But I don't like the sound of the "getting fixed" part at all. Mama says all my big brothers did it, tho, so I guess I can!
I've gotta say I like being a big boy now! But sometimes I'm glad I'm the youngest, because I can still be the "baby" when I want! I guess I have the best of both worlds!
