Big Rat!!

Well, I have had some exciting news! Early yesterday I meowed until mistress let me outside. I kept hearing something under the back deck. I ran under the deck and found a huge rat! He was as big as a big squirrel! I finally got him cornered and grabbed him by the neck. I carried him out into the yard and played with him for awhile. I let him escape and ran after him again, then did the same thing over and over until we both were tired. So, we both just took a little nap and when I woke up the huge rat was gone. I sure had fun! We have lots of lizards in the yard but Mistress says that I should not eat them as they will make me sick, so I just chase them for fun. Allie Jane and I are getting along better now. She really is a nice cat and she loves Mistress very much. She just follows Mistress around all the time. I am glad we all live here together now. Sending love and purrs to all.

Big Storm!

I was so scared! We had a big storm at our house last night. We live in ranch country, so we needed some rain, but wow...with the lighting and thunder...it was scary. I "talked" to my mistress a lot during the storm and she held me for a long time. Master was happy because the grass will grow and the cows will get fat. Yea! I spent the morning outside. It smelled so clean and fresh and the birds were singing and hoping around. We are suppose to get more rain, but maybe not so much thunder and lighting. I know now to just get in "someone's" lap and snuggle!
