Raw meat! When I give the dogs a bone, I cut pieces of meat off for the cats. Abbie becomes very vocal to make sure I don't forget her!

Arrival Story:
Abbie is Hannalee's kitten and she was the first one rescued. She also is a Patched Tabby like her mother and looks like she has pj's on when she is standing. While I was taming them she unfortunately scaled 3 baby gates and I had forgotten to close the window where Hannalee came in and out and Abbie got outside. I searched for her but she was extremely shy. Three days later she came inside with her mother and I closed the window. Unfortunately Hannalee wouldn't let me near Abbie and it took over 3 weeks to catch her. I had a difficult time because I had torn my rotor cuff and was in a sling during this time. This was a critical time in taming her and sadly it was lost. Now I just work at it daily and eventually I think she will come around.

Bio:
My veterinarian donated a free spay and shots for Abbie when he found out I had rescued the whole family. Abbie may always remain extremely shy but my wish is that she finally becomes more social. She will play with the Cat Dancer or a string if I direct it to her and she will open and close her eyes when I do.
