Food, he's very demanding
Not being able to go out, not paying attention to him
Cardboard boxes, foam balls and the cat tree
Favorite Nap Spot:
On a desk looking out a window, or his cat tree
Food, all food, even people food
Besides running the office? He's a master negotiator.
Edgar showed up outside my office, which is in a downtown neighborhood. Over a week went by and he was still around stealing the neighborhood feral cat's food when he could. I fed him a couple times then one day there was a torrential rainstorm and he came out from somewhere when he saw me to eat. There was no way I could leave him out there so I picked him up and brought him in the office. No one filed a lost report, didn't see any flyers, no one around knew anything. No one at the office could keep him at home so we gave him refuge in the office. He was not neutered so he immediately went to the vet and got a check-up, shots and fixed!
My boss had found a furrever home for Edgar, but while waiting to make the move we all realized how heartbroken we would be to see him go. She backed out of the deal, and Edgar is here to stay! He is now an integral part of the office, as you'll see here.

I don’t know if they’ve changed my bio yet, but it’s official, I’m The Office Cat.
I didn’t know when that lady brought me in from the rain that this is a place of business, it looked like a house to me. Turns out it’s also an office, so day in and day out, Monday through Friday, there’s people here working. Hey, if that’s what they’re into, fine….don’t let me get in the way! I have free rent AND fringe benefits without having to lift a paw, things like regular dinners and snacks, a cat tree and bed of my own, any desk that suits me, lots of windows and great views, fish tank, lots of toys and a human litter maid. Even the dogs that guy brings in know who’s the boss, MOL! Pretty cool, huh?
See I was already supposed to be adopted but had to wait for those humans to move, it was then I began thinking this place seemed like a better gig. So, I meowed to myself, you gotta make yourself indispensable, and fortunately it seems I have the uncanny ability of making them all happy just by being me, imagine….now that’s easy!
And after they go home, I have the place to myself *wink, wink*…..with the occasional interloper who checks in to see how I’m doing. Nice work if you can get it, eh?
