indoors Arrival Story: We are not the gaurdians of this cat. He is a semi-feral stray that came to our home to eat on the deck for a couple of years, but would not allow us to catch him. In January 2006 he showed up with a large abcess and several deep punture wounds (bite marks) in his head. He had been mauled by a vicious dog that the owners allow to roam the neighborhood. This dog had already mauled and nearly killed another neighborhood semi-feral stray cat while the owners looked on laughing and cheering (acording to our neighbors account). Fourtunately a kind soul intervened and that cat was saved and got a home.
Fuzzer was rushed to the vet by us and had stictches, had his abcess cleaned and antibiotic injections. He stayed in our garage in the 'recovering stray pen' until it seemed his infection wasn't clearing up. We took him back to the vet and our kind vet Dr. Andy Summers put a drain in his wound and healed him up. While he was recovering at the vets a kind lady fell in love with him and his story of courage and adopted him!
He has transitioned into a kind and gentle lap cat after his near death experience. Forums Motto: Spay and Neuter!
