I adopted your cat two years ago.

You cared enough about her to see she would eventually would get a home.
But you didn't care enough about her to keep her.
You didn't care it took her a long time before she learned to trust again.
You didn't care she is still scared about loosing her home.

Why did you remove her claws?
Was it to protect your precious furniture?
Was it so she couldn't defend herself against children who might scare and hurt her?
Did you know that a scratching post and proper training would have been enough?
Do you think that was why she was passed over by other families?

Why did you give her up?
Was it because of allegeries that could be fixed by medication?
Were you tired of her now the she was bigger and no longer a kitten?
Was it because he was you were moving and couldn't be bothered to take her with you?

She's happy now.
She knows she has a home and someone who loves her.
She knows she has someone who will care for her even if she gets sick.
She knows that she won't be abandoned again even if she can be a pain sometimes.
She still misses you despite what happened and would like to see you again.

I would like to know too. Because she is my cat and I love her.
