Well it's been over 2 weeks since I started my shots. Things are going well in that department. I'm getting used to the DM food. Dad tried to mix it in with some other wet foot and everyone would rather have DM. He's going to try and find another food for us.

Dad's contract ended yesterday. They said they would want him back once they have more projects ready. And he's happy to go back. Good people, good company, good pay. Not much more you could want. Well except for something called PTO. So now Dad's going to take it easy for a few days and think about what to do next. Everyone is optimistic so we're not going to worry much for now. We can make it for a few months on our own and something is bound to come up by then. Hey, we knew this was a temporary position when he took it. Only thing we didn't expect that he'd like it so much.

The weather is nice here. I get to go outside occasionally and eat the grass. It will be nice to have Dad around here more. We missed him.

Hey Sarge! You have diabetes? Sorry to hear that! I have had diabetes, but I'm in remission now. I had insulin for a few years, but now I'm "off the juice"! If you need any help, let me know. There is a good website & message board at felinediabetes.com. Just to let you know, most of the kitties there just eat low carb canned food. So if you don't like the DM, you can eat a low carb canned food. I ate things like Wellness, Evo, Merrick and went into remission while eating it. I never ate those prescription foods. Just wanted to let you know. I know the shots aren't fun, but it will help you. I'll be purring for you!

glad that the shots aren't so bad Sarge. Everyone wants to eat my special food too. Mom says is smells, but that is prob why it is so good! Keeping paws crossed for Dad, that the job will call him back real soon - at least until after you get some extra play time. Purring for ya! Tigger, Maizy & Smitty

Sarge sweet pretty kitty I am glad the shots are going well. I wish and purrary for you long and healthy cat life in spite of the need for shots. Enjoy your time with Dad keep him calm I say there is nothing more peaceful than a kitty purring in your lap, or on the bed or the sofa......
