Arrival Story:
When I was growing up, my aunt use to breed cats and dogs. Her main par of parents, one was a seal point, pure bread, and the other was a blue point pure bread. Coco was of course a mix and was considered a chocolate point. I never had papers for her, I never showed her but I could have, she was very calm and friendly. One time I went to visit and my aunts cat had just had kittens, Coco was the lightest and the runt at the same time. I fell in love with her and my aunt let me have her as a present because I had just had a baby of my own. We brought her home. It was a long trip from New York State, Buffalo area, to North Jersey and we got lost and Coco was very thirsty and we had to stop several times and dunk her in water because she wouldn't drink to cool her off. She recovered quickly when we got home and she had many experiences with us after that for the next 19 years.

Bio:
When Coco and I were watching tv at night, my son was put in bed and would try to sneak out like most kids did. I told Coco to let me know if she saw him in the hall, he would get out of bed and sneak towards the livingroom to watch what I was watching and Coco would start to Meow loud and she would get up off my lap and stand next to the doorway and meow again. I would say, Jason, get back in bed, and he would stomp off and get back in bed. Years later I told him that Coco was the alarm that let me know everytime he was out of bed. He thought I could see through walls. Coco was a great baby sitter and was so good with him, she would let him hug her so tight you could hear her go umph as he squeezed her not realizing he might be hurting her and I would get him to let her go but she never scratched anyone, and always was an angle at the vet or with anyone that was around. She was a real people kitty.

The Easter Suit

One year when I was 3 back in 1978 Meowmy was making a suit for Jason for Easter. She had to leave to go to church the night before and left me, Jason and the babysitter home. When mom got home she found that the sitter was panicing. Mom left the sewing needle on the ironing board with thread attached to it, she was getting ready to sew buttons on the jacket when she left and I got on the ironing borad, found the thread and started to eat it. The sitter saw me and the sitter jumped at me so I ran away and like a good girl I was, I made sure to eat all the thread while I was running away including the needle.

By the time meowmy got home the sitter was paniced not knowing how to tell her what I did. So meowmy found me and yep, it was gone, no signs of it, and she was hoping it would come out the other end. Well it didn't and she didn't make it to church for Easter that year. She waited for the vet to call to find out what to do. They had me come in for exrays and they saw the needle, well I could have told them it was there, it kept poking me in the tummy. So they cut me open, took the needle out and you would think that they would use it to sew me up, well they used there own stuff. They had to cut some of my insides out cause I was getting poisned from the needle making the stinkie stuff go into my tummy. But they cleaned me up and I went home and they said I might not make it. Well I showed them. And meowmy thought that cost a lot of money. That was like nothing compared to what she just went through with her new baby Gray this last year. Me, Fluffy, Puddie and my real blood brother Crooked are up here watching over the new babies meowmy are loving now.

From what I remember, Jason never wore that suit that she made cause she wasn't thinking about Easter that year, just me and the bunny that came and brought Jason lots of Easter candy when he got home from church.
