The good, the bad and the terrifyingly HUNGRY!

OMC! I am sooo glad to be back. Mummy came running downstairs the other day all excited because the puter is fixed at last and CATSTER IS BACK! Well... to be honest, Catster didn't go anywhere... we did... but THAT is not the point MOL!

So... to start with the most important news! I AM STARVING!
No, really.
Starved.
My food is in the cupboard, but will they give it to me? Oh no.
Instead they boil me a fish! I don't want a fish... I guess I should explain!
About a week ago, after eating my VERY yummy dinner (*sigh* the good old days!) I had a little accident... that is to say I.. *ahem* I was sick *blushes* Now... I'm not one to fuss but I'm not USUALLY a sicky cat. Of course, any of you who know my mum are aware that she IS one to fuss... so this got me the spy treatment! To cut an EXTREMELY long story short, I was still being sick a few days later so they stuffed me in that basket (except it's a different one!!) and dragged me down to that AWFUL place... oh yes guys... they took me to the V-E-T!
Well... Mr V-E-T told mummy I was actually a very healthy lad! (Here mum wants to point out his comments about my belly but I think we can save them for another day!) However, he thinks I have a food intolerance! Yes... he thinks I am intolerant towards my food! Well, I'll have him now that I am VERY tolerant to it... in fact I cater to it's every need before I gobbled it up! Mummy later explained that what he meant was... the food upset my belly. Oh, yes... they study for years and years and then they tell you something you could have guessed from me depositing it back on the carpet!!
Well... I was ordered to be given only boiled fish.

I don't like boiled fish.

So now I live on biscuits. Oh, very healthy! It's not like mummy isn't feeding me... and when she tried giving me a bit of real dinner.. it came back... Guys, HELP! I am S-T-A-R-V-I-N-G! If anycat has any advice at all we would be sooo grateful to hear it! After all, I reckon you guys and your mums probably have a bit more sense than Mr-Boil-Him-Some-Fish!

Mummy is also worried about my big sis... She's old, you see. REAL old... 21 in fact! But she's starting to look bad... Well, I say LOOK bad... she's just a mess! Pfft... she said I shouldn't talk about her... she said SHE'LL do it herself.. *wags tail at mummy* She's already in my bad books... she wants to watch her step!

On the up side... we have mice! Mum says this ISN'T an upside... but I think it's great...
And after all, if there's no decent food on offer indoors I can just go grab myself a takeaway...

Glad to be back!

Wowzers... talk about going AWOL!
I mean - geez, how long have we been gone? I close my eyes for a nap and next thing I know mummy's broken Catster! Uh-uh! She BROKE my Catster! *ahem* What I mean is - there was a technical fault on our catputer that was absolutely nothing to do with mum! (Come on guys - I NEED my dinner tonight!)

Luckily, I have the wonderful Miss Queenie and the gang - who wrote to Catster and then we were able to get back on track! Thank you Auntie Carli! We looooves you!
Speaking of the gang - I mean, guys, I haven't been gone that long but... well... I was pretty sure last time I checked there were 4 kittens living at Queenie's house... But mum got an email the other day and... what did I see? A picture of a cat who I was sure I'd never seen before! I stared at the screen in total befuddlement! To be honest I was a little annoyed - this new cat was VERY handsome indeed! AND he had MY name... what was this! Mummy laughed - she sat me down and told me who it was - no way was I going to believe it. Captain Gizmo?? But... he's all grown up! And yes, the other 3 are too! We remember the day they were born - how excited we were and wowzers, if you haven't seen them for a while - go see NOW! Look at them - yes, they WERE the most beautiful kittens I ever did see but... well, now they're quite possibly even more gorgeous. I do believe that out in South Africa we have one of the finest cat-families in the world. Not only the beautiful Queenie and the wonderful 'kits' but also that stunning Miss Rosie (how much she's changed from the young lady that arrived!), the wonderful Snowy AND the super Toby! Saying that - even the angels in SA are amazing - the rainbow bridge's finest I'm sure!

Well! You may have guess that I missed that lot! MOL!
BUT I need to apologise LOTS to my wonderful angel-brother Wally and his lovely brothers Alfie and Teddy! Guys, I am sooo sorry. I know it's been really hard to get hold of you - but we really have tried our best. Speaking of kits growing up - look at my NEPHEW Teddy! Talk about a handsome young man! You're doing Wally and me very proud dude!
Auntie Eva also wrote to Catster for us! THANK YOU! We love you very much and mum's sorry she hasn't been around.
I can sure count myself lucky... another of the finest families - right over there in Canada!

I've also missed my beautiful Dusty. I have a feeling she may have moved on - and what can I say - I can't blame her. AWOL for so long :( Dusty, I want you to know that you are the shining star of Catster - the most beautiful girl in the world. Officially. And I am so sorry for being gone. I hope you're happy and that you can furgive me and we can still be furriends!

Geez! So many cats! How can I furget my brother Captain! My dude! I've missed you! I've missed the garden and being turned into the terrifying Gizbear MOL!
And you know, that's another two amazing families - sitting right there in America. Geez, all of you - when will you get the message! Get your paws moving and come over here to see us. Ok, England is cold, wet, miserable, depressing... meh... BUT we're here! MOL!

Yep... you guessed it! I missed looots of cats! Lastly I want to send out a huuuuge purr to the wonderful gang at **TWT** - sorry I've been an awful admin - what a wonderful job everycat's done with the group. I love you all!

*Phew*
Now, I have all that out of my system I think it's time for a nap... but this time I'm sleeping on the catputer chair... I don't trust that mum with Catster anymore....

My brother

Today mum woke me up, rubbing something wet on me. I was annoyed at first, then I realised it was her face. What? My mum was crying??
She told me something that shocked me and devastated me so much it has taken me over 12 hours to be able to write this.

Last night, my first ever brother - my wonderful, brave Wally, left us to make his journey to the bridge.
I really can't find the words and I'm afraid I won't do him justice, but some things need to be said.

Wally was one of the first friends I made on Catster. It's thanks to him that my mum has found a very special friend, his mum. They've helped us through a lot and I really cannot express how grateful we are and how much they mean to us.
I knew my little brother wasn't well - but nothing could prepare us for this.
Although we've never truely met them, we know Wally was one of a kind. He loved his mum sooo much - you know, he used to hug her, with his paws around her neck? That's love.
I'm glad that Wally doesn't have to suffer any more. No cat deserves that, and knowing what a special guy he is, I can imagine the hero's welcome he'll be getting up at the bridge.

Wally - I can't say I'm going to miss you because you're always going to be in mine and mum's hearts. We love you very much and we know you're one handsome angel! Watch over your mum and your lovely bro, they need you more than ever now. Thank you for everything - for being a wonderful Catster brother and for introducing our mums!

Auntie Eva - We love you. That's something everyone needs to know. We're always going to be here for you. We know things haven't been too great but you're a wonderful, brave person and - well - there are one or two Catster mum's who'd be lost without you, I know that for sure.

I am so sad tonight, but I need all my friends to know I love them. It's not until something like this happens that you realise what a fragile thing life is. Captain & Scout; Queenie and the gang; Dusty & ALL of you; Wally & Alfie - every SINGLE one of my Catster buds - we love you more than you know. Thank you.

Catster - THE place to be!

Before I start can I just say thanks to HQ for making me a diary pick - now, normally I would have shyed away from all this BUT today I am celebrating Catster in it's fullness....
Hmm....

So, here we are.... Catster.
Funny place, isn't it? Come on, ask any of your mums and I'm sure that when they stumbled across it, they had no idea what it would lead to.
This place is more than just a website - you furgot it was a website right? Hehe! This place is.... is.... AMAZING!
We've made so many friends - I have, Maxy has.... even mum has!!
And so we want to say a proper thank you.... to our friends (furry and not!) and to HQ, without whom none of this would have happened.
There's no need for me to go into detail - all of you who read this will know exactly what we mean already. And hey, our words couldn't do it justice.... so I'm sure all of you will join me in putting our paws together -
To celebrate the place where we're never JUST cats!
(And our mum's are never JUST cat-people :D!)

Last night mum wasn't at home - she was staying at dad's house.

I asked her to check Catster for me. She might not have been at home but I still heard her yell.

My brother, Wally, had written. His beautiful sister has gone to the bridge.

SydneyRose - just the other day I said what a tough little rock cake you are. I can just see you bossing around all the other little angels! I know your mum is finding it impossible to imagine you happy there, but I know you are - you've got all your friends and those wonderful angel siblings.

Sweetheart, it seems so unfair. But I know that you couldn't have been happier. We will always love you princess, never furget that.
When your mum looks out at the sky tonight, that star she sees, the brightest one, that's you.

GUYS! I have an announcement!

So.... mum was hacking into Catster. She told me I had some pawmail and I raised my head a little, just to let her know that I was listening. Well, we read through them, then we got to the top one. Mum opened it up and I closed my eyes, ready to fall back to sleep.
Then mum squealed.

'Uh, mum, that's not necessary', I thought.
BUT it turns out it was! Not only did I have a pawmail from one of Rosie's purrfect kittens BUT.... he has a name. And.... wait for this, it's amazing....

it's.... CAPTAIN GIZMO!!!

UHU! After me and that guy that hangs around me! MOL! I'm teasing Cappy - I should say, after me and my brother from another country! Hah!

So, I am amazed. I am MORE than amazed. Mum was ringing everyone. And no, great aunt Ethel didn't care.... but we did!

So, I need to say thank you to the beautiful Miss Rosie (by the way sweetie - we are so proud of you!) and to Auntie C for naming the little guy after.... well, even if I do say so myself, some very pawsome role models MOL!

Welcome to the world Captain Gizmo! And to Jules, Scottie Squirrel and Amelia Rose! You couldn't have asked for a more wonderful family. And you know what, with all these kits here on Catster, I reckon you've gotta be the most loved kittens in the world!

Geez.... well, long time no purrs! Has anything been happening? Well.... yes!

It was my birthday last Friday.... Captain threw me a pawty and guess what he made.... a moving mouse cake! Uhuh, I mean, we all knew he was clever but.... geez!
ALL of my besties came (appart from my bro Wally, but his catputer was pooped, so not his fault....) and I had such fun.... so this is my first thank you - THANK YOU EVERYCAT FOR COMING TO MY PAWTY, FOR MY WONDERFUL STARS AND ROSIES AND FOR MY CAKE! *Points at Captain*

THEN.... mum got ill.... she was all snivvelly and her head was hurting a lot. I had to babysit her MOL. We didn't come on to Catster for days. Then when mum crawled onto the catputer she found 64 emails from Catster. Yes, SIXTY FOUR! While we'd been off, I'd only been COTD!!!! OMC - thank you HQ - what an honour! And you know, even though we weren't on, I didn't feel like I missed a thing. Why, you cry? Because of YOU guys! I mean.... all those rosies, those stars, those lovely messages. So, my second - Thank you, every single one of you. I can't say thank you enough! And I WILL get round to the purrsonal stuff, but there's so much MOL!

Wah? The bouncing-thing is being let out of his prison.... ttuh, that means I'm gonna have to go sort him out.

As a lot of you know, mummy got her results today!

Some of you know the circumstances, some of you don't, but we are so touched with the kindness of all of you.
We want to say thank you to a special few:

To my brothers and aunties, Wally (and Auntie Eva), Sagan (and Auntie Susie) and Captain (and Auntie Christine) - who each have supported us in their own special ways and who have helped mum realise that the world is really a wonderful place!

Me and Maxy went along to Zack's party last night, to wish him and his family a wonderful day, of course.
All was well, all smiles and purrs.
I noticed a beautiful young lady out of the corner of my eye, but I never thought she'd be interested in me....

Then Sophie arrived. Oh, she may be my Catster bro's girl, but she is a monster! I'm kitting Sophie, you're a gem.... but.... you've mushed up my head!
She only introduced me to the beautiful young lady. Her name is Maggie and she is a goddess. She cannot be real, it is impossible. But guys, I don't know if she likes me. She must be so popular with the boys and.... well, maybe she won't pick me. *Sigh*
It is oh so confusing.... it didn't help that little Meshew kept kissing me! I mean, where does a guy put himself MOL!
Oh Maggie, if you happen to stop by, you are amazing, and I can only hope that you feel that I'm a little bit ok! I mean, I really like you....

*Shakes head* Geez, I don't know what to do with myself.... I made such fool of myself.... if it hadn't been for my new pals, Captain and PJ, I would probably have been banned from Catster MOL! Thanks guys!
