Likes:
I love to be loved... pet me, vacuum me, brushing is my favorite! I like to sleep and dream alot, as I am deaf and blind.

Pet-Peeves:
Sometimes, when I wake up and am not sure of my surroundings, I get very vocal. Just making sure everything is cool... also, I hate when Scarlett "stares me down"... I can feel her doing it; after all, she's the queen!

Favorite Toy:
Catnip is wonderful... I zone out for hours!

Favorite Nap Spot:
In the sun on the porch or on my kitty couch! Actually, I am so laid back, I could come over to your house, and act like I've lived there for years!

Favorite Food:
Canned tuna juice... Orijen, Solid Gold Tuna

Skills:
I am a very intuitive cat, as I cannot hear and I am also blind. I am a happy boy, and love life to the fullest!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
My Mom rescued me from the humane society, and as soon as she started brushing me, I knew I found my new home. I was approx. 3 yrs. old, and someone had just adopted my brother, leaving me behind.

Bio:
My Mom didn't know until about 2 weeks after adopting me that I was deaf. We soon learned to communicate through a "sign language", and you wouldn't really know I was deaf. In 2004, I was finally diagnosed with a cardio-diaphragmatic hernia... which, basically means some of my organs are misplaced and wrapped outside of my heart... but, I seem to handle this quite well. I sometimes have a hard time keeping my food down, but I have a good appetite and keep goin' back for more... I manage to eat enough to be a strong, healthy boy! Then, about 1 1/2 years ago, we found out I was blind. Ya know, I am such a happy-go-lucky "lounge cat" (as my Mom calls me), that I don't let this get to me. I have adjusted incredibly well, find my way around the house; upstairs, downstairs; out on the porch... and my Mom and I are working on a new "language", so we can communicate through vibration. I am a very smart, content boy, and a real trooper! I was born in FL, but moved back to WI with Mom for a year... experienced major cold and snow (and I could see the snow, then... it was kinda fun) ... but, glad to be back in sunny, warm FL! I was such a good boy traveling, too. My "brother" Cody is a great friend, and we even "rough play" and I box with him, too! My Mom always says, when she has a rough day, I am her inspiration! Meow! Update 1.19.10: Sadly, I crossed the rainbow bridge today... it was very peaceful (as my entire life of 17 years has been)...I just finally hit an obstacle that I could not endure... most likely a brain tumor... I am now an angel to watch over Scarlett and Cody and Mom... and I can see and hear again! My Mom says I was the sweetest, most gentle boy ever... and the world was a better place having me in it... I had a wonderful life til the end... until we meet again...
