I can't even begin to tell you how special this little guy was. He came from a local cattery. It wasn't a kitty mill, but the breeder didn't like to deal with kitten buyers, so she sold her kittens to Pet City. Banjo was about 6 months old when I saw him in one of those glass display cages at Pet City. He came to the pet store when he was 12 weeks old. The first thing that happened was some little kid broke his leg. He got caged in the pet store office while his fracture was healing. He was a real sociable little guy because the employees had given him lots of attention. I took him out to visit with him and discovered he was full of ringworm. I put a deposit on him so they couldn't sell him, but I didn't have to take him home either. They allowed me to come to the store and treat him. When he was cleared up, I paid him off and took him home. He was my buddy for 13 years. We lost him on 12-22-05.
