From Kitty Heaven

I can't believe how many toys there are up here!

Yeah, I went to Kitty Heaven a couple of days before Christmas. 20 is old for a cat! Mom already got a new kitty, I think the house was too empty without a cat. But she is a handful! I don't think I was ever that much trouble... well, maybe I was. I miss torturing the stupid dog George, but it's pretty cool up here... I guess I'll go take a nap now....

Diary of the Day!

Imagine my surprise when I woke up today and found my diary on diary of the day! I'm honored. Of course, I do deserve it, after all.

I was so happy it was Thanksgiving yesterday. I got all kinds of food off Mom's plate. No turkey though. I was disappointed, poultry is my favorite. Something about Mom not wanting to cook one and Dad not wanting to eat one. So rib roast instead. Also yummy.

I was thinking about what I'm thankful for. Of course, I'm thankful for Mom (so I get fed every day) and Dad (so I have someone to annoy). I'm thankful for the warm bed to sleep in and the sun to give nice nap spots. I'm thankful I get to go outside to sniff everything. I love to sniff. I'm thankful for open windows to stare out of. I'm sure there's more... but I'm starting to fall asleep again.....

A day in the life...

So I'm getting up from my nap long enough to tell you what I've been up to. So what have I been up to? Sleeping.

I'm always wondering why mom doesn't get up to feed me as soon as I start telling her to. I know the meowing is annoying, but that's the only way I can get her out of bed so early to feed me.

I'm also wondering why she subjected me to living with a dog. I spent 15 years living with out them. It's a good thing George doesn't chase me, I've seen him chase all the other cats in the backyard. Maybe that's because he's afraid of me. My first day here I whacked him good. That'll show him.

Hmmm.... I'm tired, back to sleeeeeeep.
