tagged!!

thanksgiving

I have been tagged by my sweet guardee Autumn Amelia and dearest friend Smokey:

I am grateful I had the most beautiful life with my meowmy and my twin Magdelene, and Hugo the Amazing, then Martin and then (harumpf!) Vincent.

I am grateful for all my wonderful friends, with whom I would be nothing. I cannot believe what magnificent and kind friends I have! They are the very very best!

I am grateful for Catster, for it has allowed me to meet so many wonderful kitties and meowmies and daddies. It has allowed me to help other kitties. A few years, a group of us formed to try and bring an animal abuser to justice, and whereas it didn't turn out the way we exactly WANTED it to, we were able to alert the young man's parents and perhaps he was able to get help.

I am grateful for my vets who helped take such good care of me.

I am grateful for the Rainbow Bridge, where I play and love with all the other animals and wait with joy for my meowmy who will be here someday, but first she has a lot of work to do on earth. Go meowmy!! My spirit accompanies you and protects you and gives you courage!

I was tagged by sweet Francis and let's see if I can come up with anything new that I didn't say before. (I promise not to peek at my old tag entry!!)

1 ~ I was named after Amelia Earhart cause I was the daredevil of the two of us kittens.

2 ~ I was meowmy's "nurse" ~ whenever she felt bad I'd lay on her tummy and in 10 minutes she'd feel fine again!

3 ~ In most of my pix, especially my younger years, my mouth is always open cause I'm meowing at meowmy as she takes the photo!

4 ~ I travelled from Baltimore to New Orleans to New Mexico to California!! I was born in Baltimore.

5 ~ I am married to Bill, the most wonderful cat in the whole wide universe and meowmy met his family when she went back east last summer!!

6 ~ I liked Martin okay when he came to live with us, but never cared much for Vincent. I guess one kitten was ENOUGH!!

7 ~ The night before I went to the Bridge, meowmy and I were surrounded by kitty angels, and their love made it easier to say goodbye. Also knowing I would join my beloved Bill at the Bridge made meowmy feel better, knowing there was someone to take care of me until we all get together again someday.

7 things about me:

1. I am in love with and married to the most fantastic cat that ever lived: Bill, now an angel. I am waiting for him furever...

2. I was named after Amelia Earhart cause my meowmy thought I was such a daredevil and tomboy when I was young.

3. meowmy wishes I'd be nicer to Vincent, but I waited 16 years to be the alpha cat, and just when I was, she brought in Martin, and then Vincent, and that was TOO MUCH!!!

4. I love to sleep with my chin resting on meowmy's hand.

5. One of my nicknames is SB for Stinky Butt b/c sometimes I have little poopballs. (* "Meowmy, that was NOT too much information!!" *)

6. When I was little I meowed every time meowmy took my picture so every picture has me with my mouth open.

7. I had a twin sister, Magdelene, who literally "dropped dead" one night about 5 years ago; they think she had heart failure, even though she was never sick and was completely asymptomatic of any kind of illness.
