indoors Arrival Story: Cinder was placed with me by his breeder at the age of 6 months. He was the product of an "oops" breeding of a shaded silver to a tortoiseshell. Consequently, he didn't conform to the standard for either. The breeder referred to him as "junk". She first pawned him off on her ex husband and then took him back and gave him to me. He's my Yankee Doodle Dandy, born on the 4th of July 1992. Bio: 12-14-06 With great sorrow, I just sent my little Cinder off to heaven. I discovered several days ago that he was in renal failure. I've had him on IV fluids for 3 days and it's made no difference in the kidney values, which were off the chart. I was not very optimistic, but I had to give it a try. Now, though I will miss him terribly, I am at peace with my decision.
