Helping catster friends

Hi everyfur!

I wanted to let you all know about a couple of different auctions that our fellow Catsters are doing to help some catster families.

The first one is to help the wonderful family of Smudge & Bob in England.

Samoa has set up a auction & all proceeds go to help their family.

It's party time!

Hi everyfur!

I wanted to invite you all to a birthday party.

Toulouse is throwing a big bash for our favorite boa-rockin Meezer, Frankie Sinatracat!

It will be in the Party Time & Virtual Play Date forum tomorrow afternoon.

It will be from 4pm-9pm Eastern time & the theme is Hawaiian!

Birthday thank yous!

Wow my 4th birthday snuck up on mom this year. MOL

She had my page all decked out, and she remembered in time to give us all a yummy tuna dinner in my honor!

Crazy Kitten Alert!

OMC our house has been invaded today by a girl kitten!

Mom's friend brought his kitty over to try to "socialize" her with us. She only has doggies at her house & she hides a lot, though the doggies are nice to her.

She is maybe a month younger than my brofur Calvin.

Well she came out & hid at first, but within minutes she was running around like she owned the place!

Mom had all of us except Mercy, Oliver & Calvin put up. But soon Oliver had his fill so mom put him up & got me out.

The kitten is nuts! She ran up to me & started meowing! I was kinda freaking out so I moved back just a bit. Then you know what she did!?

She pounced forward & gently bit the side of my neck! Mom was worried at first, but she realized she wasn't actually attacking me or biting me hard.

The crazy girl just kept doing that & finally got to where she was trying to bite at my chin.

Mom thinks maybe I look like her mama? She's never seen that behavior before, but she just kept saying things like "aww she likes you Rico!"

Please! Get me away from that vampire kitten! We have met her a few times before & back then she & Calvin chased each other & played, but this time Calvin is hiding in the bottom of the cat tree & will not budge. MOL

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

You know this has to be one of our favorite holidays, being that mom has a wee bit O'Irish in her.

So to wish you all a happy St. Patrick's Day we wanted to share on of mom's favorite Irish Blessings with all our furriends!

Not the baby anymore

**Pout** Meowmy says I'm not the baby anymore! That now I'm a big boy. That sucks! Why am I no longer the baby you ask?

Because we have a new bratty brofur.

His name is Calvin and he was named after our wonderful friend Calvin.

The next thing going on is that my secretary is about to be fired! Do you know what she did?!

She let our Catster Plus expire! She swears she *forgot* it was due. So now we have to *wait* until next week sometime before she gets it back for us. *pout* We will be glad to see those ads gone again that's for sure!

Also please keep us in your purrs as most of us are sneezing & hacking. (Started before we brought the little orange brat home)

Halloween Tag!

I've been tagged by! I just have to name my five favorite things about Halloween.

1. The electric atmosphere outside! I love to watch the leaves skitter down the road.

2. All the yummy treats mom gives us! Mmm cool whip from on top of a pie is delish!

3. Seeing all the spooky costumes the little ones wear when they knock on the door.

4. Hiding under the bed when those spooky kids come to the door. MOL

5. Looking at all the neat pages my fellow Catsters come up with!

I'm three years old!

Wow! I can't believe I'm actually three already. It just seems like yesterday I was a wee kit!

Mom mentioned something about tuna surprise for dinner. MOL

Today has been spent kicked back catnapping with mom & chasing Oliver (my two fave past times.)

She says I have to wait for my presents until she gets paid. mol Why is it always the handsomest & youngest that has to tolerate such from the humans? **sighs dramatically**

Ooh & guess what! There is another young hep-cat that is having a birthday today!

It's Newman! You all know Newman is the beautiful cat model Samoa's little brofur.

Well he is turning ONE today! That is an important birthday to be sure! So why not swing by to wish him a happy birthday too!

Mom says I will be back later to send out my thank-yous to all my friends who are helping me celebrate my turning 3 today.

**Zooms into the room & screeches to a halt**

Hi!

As you might suspect, I am feeling so much better!

Mom keeps making me take that nasty pink stuff every day, but I think it must be magic, because I feel a lot better! Mom keeps checking the lymph node & she informed me it was about pea size now! So it's gone down a lot.

I really started acting like my old self yesterday was launching off the beds at unsuspecting sibs (even the dog!)

I will snuggle with mom at night & she will be cooing to me & petting me when WHAM! I snatch her arm & give it a pawsome rabbit kick!

She hoots & hollers & I just look at her with my big blue eyes & she melts like so much putty in my paws! mol

Thanks for all the purrs & love you all have shown us. I know the purrs helped a lot!

It's my lymph node

Well we were able to get in to see the vet this afternoon.

He poked & prodded me, told mom my temp was normal.

He said it is my lymph node, but he's not sure why it's so swollen. Mom (being the clueless lady she is) asked if I could have caught anything from her when she was so sick with New Moanya.

Most of us kept her company, but I'm the main one that slept with her & watched over her during that time. The vet said it was possible but didn't think that's what was going on.

So he gave me a shot of vitamin B & Baytril & gave mom some Amoxidrops to give me at home for the next week.

He said he wasn't sure if the lymph node would go down or not because sometimes they don't. Mom was surprised at that because anytime her lymph nodes have gotten swollen they always went down after the medicine. She just assumed it would work the same with us kits & pups.

He said that if I'm not doing better after the medicine is gone that he would like to do a needle aspiration & look at it under a microscope. He wanted to do that today but he said it felt so solid that he wanted to wait because he didn't think he'd be able to get anything out of it.

You will never guess what I weigh! A whopping 13.6 pounds! Mom just laughed when he told her how much I weighed. I'm still one of the smaller cats in the house!
