Love to give mama facials in the morning, and groom her hands and arms. I also use my paws like human hands, thanks to my extra toes! I bat & open doors & carry things in my mouth.

Arrival Story:
(Make sure you click on See My CatsterPlus Photo Book for MORE pics!!!) My mama is E-Z. I had her before she was even all of the way inside the foster's door! I heard the door, ran over, saw her, and her face had SUCKUH written all over it. So I played it cute (cuz I am). I ran up to her, meowing, purring, shmoozing, and followed her around for the next couple hours - right beside her ankles the whole time. And it worked (of course my extra toes - I'm a Hemingway - and my short stubby kinked tail helped my cute appearance, too)! The foster thought I'd never leave because my extra toes, broken tail, and coloring (I'm a black cat with a little tiny, heart-shaped white patch on my chest) all went against me. But not with mama! She loved all of me right from the beginning! Thank goodness, too, because I wasn't really happy at the foster's. My previous owner abandoned me during Hurricane Katrina. Dumped me at a shelter & said they'd be back to get me after the hurricane passed. They never came back. I waited & waited, staring at the door every time someone came through, but it was never them. The shelter called & called & left message after message, but they went ignored. The foster plucked me out because they heard my "time was almost up". And although I am grateful for being pulled in time, I was very hurt by the abandonment & just wanted to be loved again & be special to someone. There were too many other cats at the foster's and living conditions weren't all that great. I contracted ringworm. Mama didn't know that at that time, but the foster told her when she came back a week later to pick up me & my brother (Sausage). My brother didn't show any signs, but I had lesions. I was so afraid mama was going to refuse me when she found out & that I would have to remain at the foster's, but she didn't! She rescued me as is & started treatment for me right away! Sausage wasn't too happy - even though he showed no visible lesions, he had to be treated too, since we lived together at the foster's, in case he was a carrier. I also had an eye infection for quite some time that went untreated until mama came along. I am happy now. I show mama by giving her kisses & purring & kneading & shmoozing & talking & following her around. I rule the nest of my furr-ever home.
Bio:
I'm bratty & pushy & know how to get away with it! The little princess of the house! And I love to talk! I have lots of different meows. I never cease to amaze mama, she says, with the sounds I make. Two of my favorites are my quack and my baby scream. I'm also rather gassy, but I think it's funny. Mama calls me lil stinker sometimes. I see no problem with a little gas, do you? Mama says I have a TKO-A and could drop Matt Serra to the ground without ever touching him! Just point my rumpus at him & let it rip! Speaking of rumpuses, I love to bite my brother on his...especially when he's asleep. Hope mama doesn't see me. She doesn't like it when I pick on my older brother. But I'm so good at picking on him! And he really is a good sport about it...most of the time...hehe! I like to watch him & learn from him, like when he leaps up in the air to catch things. I'm learning how to do that from him! Right now I still just bat the toys away, but I'll learn to catch one of these days! Don't tell my brother this, but I really am glad he's my brother. Gotta keep a secret, though. Don't want to lose my rank in the house!

Meowlo furs! Fankees furry much fur all of your purrayers! They worked! The margins are clear! Now, as we know, that is not a guarantee wif cancer, but hopefully in this case it is!
I got my stitches out on Sunday & am back to my spunky, silly, sweet, face lickin, piggy self! The only thing still missing is my gas problem, but fur some reason the pink monkey is ok wif that.
I am so sorry to hear of furriends passings & ovfurs that are quite ill. Sausage & I are purraying fur you all and our hearts go out to you. We do not get on Catster much, but are slowly getting caught up wif furriends. Many meowpologies fur those furs whose burpdays, gotcha days, illnesses, passings, weddings, etc. we have missed. You are always in our thoughts even if we cannot communicate. Our pink monkey is going to make sure we get on here once a week from now on! We have been missing our furriends so much!

I am home! I had my cancer removed Saturday morning and got to come home Monday evening. My pink monkey stayed home wif me yesfurday and we had a big ol' love fest all day!!! I made SO many biscuits!!
I hate being coned, but I am loving the spoon-feeding & hand-feeding I am getting. *giggles* I eggspecially like it when I make the pink monkey feel like she has to hand-feed me the wet food. Love how it gets all up in her nails & I imagine it feels pretty slimy. *giggles* It's even better when she doesn't realize she didn't get it all off of her monkey paws & then gets it in her mouth. MOL!
At least I have mastered the art of giving facials wif the cone ON! I showed the pink monkey by waking her up at 5 a.m. yesfurday, when she didn't have to work, and 6 a.m. today cuz I wanted to make more biscuits & have breakfast.
I haz sutures all around the left side of my face. To cover where the cancer was removed, they pulled skin up from my neck. I can't wait to see what color my fur grows in on my face. *giggles* I'd like a Hello Kitty pink, but it looks like my choices are black or white! I can't close my left eye completely, yet, as the skin needs to stretch. Right now it is pulling down on the left eye so it looks like I am sleepin' wif my eyeball open just a bit! I hope I can close it soon! I don't like the artificial tears ointment. I still haz some swelling & the furry corner of my mouth has some of the relocated skin, so it is a little droopy, too, and sutured.
I also look like I am wearing Uggs. *giggles* Both my front legs are shaved all around the middle. Fur half way down, then a quarter shaved, then fur again from just the top of my feets down.
I fank evfurry fur for their pawmails, gifties, well-wishes & comments and will fank you all individually furry soon!
I should know furry soon if all of the cancer was removed, so keep your paws crossed it is all gone & nevfur comes back! And as soon as I allow the pink monkey to take pics of me in the LATEST cone, they will be posted!

Meatball had her surgery. They did all they could do to remove the cancer surgically. The mass is being re-biopsied. Too early to tell if they were able to remove it all because of its location. They had to pull skin up from her neck for the incision due to there not being enough of the face to be able to heal without doing so. She will stay over night & they will see how she is doing tomorrow. She will appear disfigured for a bit on the left side of her face, and that may or may not be permanent. Hopefully, she will not have any trouble eating. Otherwise a feeding tube will have to go in. Not sure when she will be able to come home. Thank you all so much for your support. Love to you all.
