Arrival Story:
I got her from the D.C. Animal Shelter as a friend for Simon. After a month and half's search, I finally found a cat with a compatible personality. They are friends, but not yet best friends ... It's only been about 4 months of them living together and I think they are probably still working out the heirarchy.

Bio:
The shelter said she had previously lived with a pit bull. Their owner was evicted and she and her canine companion were left with a neighbor, who eventually brought them to the shelter. I think living with the pit bull is the reason she is a food hog! Perhaps the pit bull ate all of her food ... She was a petite 6 pounds when I got her, and she has gained at least a pound, and a bit of plump, despite her constant toy-chasing. I'll have to watch this and make changes to feeding accordingly. Simon, although he has gained a much-needed pound, is still sleek and fit, so it's just her. I think perhaps she is the dominant one, despite the size difference. She is a total love bug who also happens to drool a bit and have a wet nose: It feels like she's giving you "wet willies" upon waking up in the morning! She's very active while being petted: She has to move her head and body all around so you pet her just where SHE wants you to pet her!
